This is what this country needs. And as far as some of those Judges go.... I think some of them should be called in front of Congress on national TV, and explain to the country why they make some of the decisions they do. As with anyone, if you are called to testify in front of Congress, and you ignore them, they WILL ARREST YOU.

You'd be amazed at how fast these moronic Anti-American judicial decisions will stop, when the Judges finally have to answer to the public for their actions.

@stavie03 Actually, under wartime conditions, even when war has not been officially declared, the President does have executive authority to conduct military operations, to which may have affect on foreign adversaries who live outside our Constitutional Republic. There is nothing in the Patriot Act that has been found unconstitutional, even after being fully read and interpretted by the overwhelming majority of Judges and Lawyers in this country. Many who are quite liberal.

According to that logic a president could always declare such things due to the fact we are constantly policing the world. And I did not say we declared war. I said, even when war HAS NOT BEEN DECLARED!!! You need to pay attention. Yes, the President has executive military authority to engage enemy combatants without a formal declaration. This Patriot Act has already been thrown at the courts and numerous analysts for the last decade, and everyone with a brain stem bigger than a pipe cleaner has said it is constitutional.

The Patriot act is direct violation of the constitution and our rights as U.S citizens, it gives the government the power for illegal searches and seizures, the power to detain you indefinitely, the right to take away free speech, it gives the fbi power to write its own search warrants without a Judge, the right for them to install cameras in your house up to 18 months. Have you read the Constitution?

@stavie04 You keep forgetting, that when a civilian... even an American citizen.. takes up arms against its governemnt in attempt to subvert, damage, or overthrow its government (ie. terrorism) isn't just considered a criminal act. It is considered an act of war, by which such an act then goes outside the written federal laws of the United States, and the laws of war then apply. Thus, the President has executive authority to use military engagement, and tactics to stop such insurrective actions.

It is obvious that there are a lot of You Tube commentators who never bother to read the Constitution. There is NOTHING in the Constitution that mandates judicial supremacy. The Constitution NOWHERE says that the Supreme Court has the final say on what the Constitution means. The Constitution NOWHERE states that the Supreme Court's interpretation of the Constitution is superior to that of the Congress or the President. ok as much as I hate newt, i gotta sort of agree with him on some points. for one, when the gov. say someone can not express their religion, it is the same as saying some has to express an established religion. As an atheist I fear the idea ofg the gov. monitoring what anyone has to say. And also I do believe that each part of the gov. should hold each other accountable.
