  • any amp??

  • is there any anm?

  • I think you should invest in a voodoo lab pedal power haahaha

  • I see your Ibanez DE7 i believe :P

That is a very underrated echo pedal imo. I just bought a space echo pedal by boss and I don't really think it's that good in comparison to the DE7 - it's very easy to get gilmouresque textures with that thing.

  • whitch pedal make you hold notes longer?

  • excellent video, sick setup man!!!!! @timpovikings lets see you do better jerk

  • Impressive box of tricks, but that soundtrack is shit.

  • i pursed my lips watching this

  • This has got fuck all to do with dave gilmour,he wouldnt use shitty reissues and clones get a grip man..

  • @spredthefunk how would you know if he was a purist asshole like yourself? You need to get a grip.

  • @Imat00l uh... because you can see his pedalboard setups at online. That's how. No, he didn't use cheap clones. Gilmour had all that cash he got off Roger Water's hard work and inherent creativity. He didn't need cheap clones.

  • @MongoTheLloyd Waters hard work, but Gilmours talent.

  • i didn't think dave used the triangle muff? just rams head and civil war?

  • @jakeyboy2929 He did use a Triangle sometimes during his tour of 2006.

  • perfect it's all well done!! but how do you switch your tone from clean, crunch, lead etc. instantly during a song?

  • READ THIS. I like to build my own pedals and some of you guys have probably heard of the Cornish G2 :) it costs too much right!!! if you go to madbean pedals, you can get a PCB based on this pedal :) its got to be worth builidng, I ordered mine. If you know how to use a soldering iron etc. check that site out, it saves me loads of money on getting the best sounds without breaking the bank

  • u must be rich...

  • Now ya gotta practice...

  • where di you get the case?

  • Man oh man 43 seconds wasted opening the thing up.

  • i have a question. Why do you have both a mxr dyna comp and a boss comp? I'm new to this sort of thing. why have two? do you turn them on at the same time? does one have a feature that the other doesn't? If so, what? Why? On a different note, I'm just now begining to hear the difference b/w flanger and phaser. Which do you use for what, and do you ever have the two on simultaneously?

  • @cdglax2000316 Sometimes I did use two at the same time (like Gilmour did in the 90s). Now I use only one compressor (Demeter Compulator).

  • @jdiuurdfsds must buzz like hell with all those power supplies and I understand compressed compression!

  • why dont you make a vid and show us what it sounds like??

  • @thejizzyjake he did. what you're hearing is what it sounds like!

  • excellent equipement! ;)

I need an advice: i've got the american big muff and a boss metal zone..which one goes before? i mean: big muff-metal zone, or metal zone-big muff?

    thx a lot!!! ;)

  • @thedeadliest I would playce the Muff first. What other pedals are you using?

  • @jdiuurdfsds thx dude, I had already solved my prob by putting the muff before the distortion...I tried both solutions and then I've decided. I think it sounds better..and then , my distortion is overloaded of bass frequences and a more distorted than the muff...this is the reason why I prefer my way :) however, thx for your precious opinion!!! ;)

  • @thedeadliest No thanks, you're welcome ;-)

  • @thedeadliest try both ways. Typically, you're better off placing over drive and distortions before the muff but what ever sounds best to you is good

  • @thedeadliest

it's the same... i presume that you use this 2 pedals always individually ;)

  • AWESOME JOB!!!

  • I am so overcome by how mediocre this is.

  • BULLSHIT THIS IS NOT DAVES BOARD IAM CORNISH I BUILT IT

  • i read that david said he used a treblebooster in his rig,all through floyd.

  • Golly, I have one pedal ... and that's too many !

  • yes, how much did this whole set set you back?

  • You should get an mxr carbon copy, I have one and its great for floyd covers, pricey pedal but its an excellent delay!

  • Nice pedalboard, but you should work on your string bending a little and try not to be so "nervous" while playing if you wish to sound near Gilmour. :)

  • That is awesome..nice job with that man! -i just love David's work..just incredible.

  • David...is it really you?

  • dude you had me just by showing the case!! hahaha and after opening it completely blown away, amazing board, congrats!

  • Hey man how cost you the Pete Cornish pedal?

  • My Ibanez De7 is having problems not switching on and off-works fine plugged in to a power strip but will not work with just battery power(battery's fresh), if anyone know whats up give me a holler.

  • What are the results of having 2 compessor pedals?

  • @brownicles more compresion / options. Actually now I use only one: a Demeter Compulator.

  • @brownicles

DOn't know if it applies here but some players have a compressor at each end of the pedal chain. One at the beginning as normal, and the one at the end which smooths out the signal when switching on and off other pedals, so you don't get big volume jumps or volume drops. Andy Summers is one player who used 2 compressors like this for example.

  • nice pedal board! did you have all effects in a row? it would be great if you would show how you connect them.

  • uh, cool that you have all this gear.. lets HEAR it?

  • pedal power 2 get rid of those wall worts nuf said

  • how do you attain such good echo sound ?

sorry im clueless when it comes to pedals :P

  • @ShinOuri Actually I now use the T-Rex Replica. Also, I don't use reverb.

  • @jdiuurdfsds so the main reason your echo sounds like that is the T-Rex? Hmm i should check this out... I have a thing with echo you see :P thank you very much!

  • @jdiuurdfsds

This is not to say that reverb *never* helps an echo sound, tho... let's not get too GMD here;):)

  • @yobhsiFehT Actually Gary Moore likes delay + reverb ;-)

  • @jdiuurdfsds

    Right, so do I, that's what I'm saying:D

  • pedalboard great, congratulations.

curiosity, because you use the original sources and not a single source for multiple pedals?

very good your pedalboard ... done with care and quality ..

    Once again, congratulations ..

note: I am Brazilian and my English is the google translator .. I hope that the translation has been effective ... hehehehehe

  • would be good to see a Dallas Arbiter FuzzFace with the German transistors, for that Pompeii "Echoes" solo

  • that is the shit. love the song by the way.

  • Hey man, have you noticed that the Ibanez DE7 sucks a bit of tone out of your guitar's bypass?

  • @metelegerald I use a T-Rex replica at the moment

  • this is very close to Gilmour's tone, but why two compressors? And if you want to replicate his tone 100%, you should buy his signature strat.

  • Hi bro nice pedal board. i'm making a pedal board at the mo to and just wondering how you took of the lid after opening it? at 40 sec

  • @spitbazzas just google for flightcase parts. Good luck!

  • emg pickups missing..

  • Nice collection of power supplies.

  • hello friend, I'm Argentine and I would saver that I have to use pedals to play Comfortably Numb:)

  • try using a room simulator on the drum track. I think you will like it.

  • dude... why so many wall-warts? You could power most of those pedals with a 1-spot daisy chain, and it would probably make your board alot lighter too

  • DG uses a Leslie or Leslie simulator, try the rotovibe by jim Dunlop . That is an awesome pedal but it sucks power and steals life from your signal. . If I had all those pedals hooked up I would want at least two true by pass loops because those stomp boxes trash your original guitar to amp signal.

  • now i wanna hear how it sounds!

  • what delay do you recommend for Pink Floyd tone ?

  • @horsecoollover19

Boss DD3 does it all , but if you have a DD3 AND an Ibanez or Boss analog delay you can get some freaky stuff going on.

  • @taariqtaariq ok :) i think like a compression sustainer and a chorus pedal would help ?

  • @horsecoollover19 no , compression robs your line signal of dymanics, but a chorus and a DD3 is a good start but the jim dunlop rotovibe gets closer to the DG sound of the 70's than a chorus pedal.

  • nice stuff! except the boss compressor. never have been a fan of that. or the ibanez delay. but that's just personal taste. nice board!!! :)

  • @41224jason

yes the Boss compressor just robs your signal of life. I took mine back to the shop. Valve amp.s provide enough compression.

  • @taariqtaariq well, i wouldn't even go that far. i want a little more compression than what my tubes give me. and i know plenty other comp pedals that sound much more natural. like visual sound's comp 66. that's the most transparent one i've ever heard. it sounds great, which is why i own it :)

  • your missing the Colorsound Power Boost.Check out gilmourish

  • Nice!

  • Comment removed

  • @petrochemicals4u

    Easy Marshall

  • check "stress da cerca version"... hug

  • Cool board. David Gulmour would be proud

  • ouch! the blue note at the end...

  • @maximco1050 Ha... :-(

  • nice pedalboard! Who's ur favorite guitarist? Lol David Gilmour is pretty cool!

  • nice sound what fx is on the lead? and whats on the 3 note riff?

  • @sweetflyingsound That's a backingtrack (probably phaser) , but the lead is Compressor and Delay.

  • now were are talking more cool stuff ROCK ON !!!!

  • Gilmour plays a muff, I saw you had a copy. Cool board brother.

  • @monsterwilly23 Whats the song being played??

  • nice gear man, you need a little practice though...

  • nice one,I thought that was the real pink floyd

  • awesome board, but like said before, you could save some space with a pedal power, and maybe a voodoo lab pedalswitcher for the non true bypass pedals. and of course the proco rat does not be missed on a gilmour inspired board. thats how i would continue working on that board.

  • Thanks!

Actually, I am considering a Voodoo Lab!

My DG inspired board is chainchng all the time... depending on my mood :-)

  • que viadagem kkkkkkkkkkkk

  • what's the song name!!!!??????

  • He uses that little delay pedal?

  • what kind of Delay are you using?

  • Quite simple actually - amazing...

  • Last two comedy notes made me laugh, should have played them a fret higher dude!

  • I guess, I was only jamming / having fun ;-)

  • wow...how much would something like that cost to put together??

  • Nice gear!

The video style looks like a porno scene, lol, but it's ok. I think i would do the same auto promo in slow motion if i have all this toys.

    Cheers!

  • wow get a onespot ahahahaha

  • slow motion :) it seems you wanted the pedalboard to look more unattainable:) nice gear though.

  • Nice pedal board guy.

Did you ever think about getting yourself a multipoint power supply like a Trex Fuel Tank or similar....Would save you a ton of space...

  • Actually I did.

    Maybe in the future ;-)

  • Good luck with it.

    nice tone. like it much.

  • i have the same strat it looks sweet in that colour

  • cant beat the black strat =)

  • i think all the strats look nice

  • haha! Guitar Pedal Porn!

  • @quinnmyster Clear Foot Fetish!

  • Lot o wall warts!

  • What position should have control levels for the Electric Mistress for play Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Syd Barret Theme)?

    grazie

  • Keep evrything between 9 and 10 o'clock

  • Just an inquisitive noob here: what's the logic of using two or more compressors?

  • You can see them in the clip ;-)

  • why two compressors?

  • yes, most definately guitar porn. but amazing setup

  • which comp do u use most?

  • Right now: The Demeter Compulator!

  • that's the strangest graphic eq setting I've ever seen. Gotta go try it... ;-))))

  • Works fine in combination with a Big Muff ;-)

...actually these are Gilmour's GE7 settings!

  • Cool! But where`s the Whammy DigiTech ?

  • jeez, we're such nerds lol

  • i just made a erection:)

  • Thanks John!

  • is this one of those fetish videos? wtf man... wtf.

  • haha you're the man. it is though. i get off to it...

  • What about amps?

  • i just got a boner

  • this is like 'guitar porn'!! ha ha

  • Very cool... but overdoing it a bit maybe?

  • give me a break.

  • just two questions: why if u have that great MXR compressor would u also have the Boss one? And why are us using an Ibanez started delay? It just seems like it would totally rob all ur tone especaill since it's later in the board.

  • I now use only one compressor: a Demeter Compulator.

    Also, I now use a T-Rex Replica....

  • lose the wall-wart power supplies man. get a voodoo lab.

  • looks sweet! i saw you had a boss ge 7 eq, do you like that? lots of people say it makes unwanted noice, have you expirienced that?

  • Just a little bit, using my settings.

There is a mod available on the internet to kill this noise (Maybe Analogman does it as well).

  • what is the most essential thing, that creates the gilmour sound? the bk butler?

  • Basically a Vintage Big Muff and BK Butler and delay...

(+ good strat and tube amp)

  • yawn

  • ah, the pedalboard of my dreams

  • ahaha lol I've got the same ibanez delay and the same exact settings :D

  • theres one pedal you dont show, i think its a boss blues driver next to the one on the top-right corner. nicee pedalboard!

  • Yes, it is the BOSS BD-2...

    (Analogman version: BD-2 Super)

  • Mine too, I was thinking, holy S@#T, there is a pedal better than a TD? I want to know what it is.. LOL. Thanks! Sweet pedal board by the way.

  • Thanks ;-)

PS - Gilmour himself feels the TD is the best!

  • TD is one of your favorite pedals? Which is your favorite?

  • The TD...

  • But the question is

    Do you really play giutar?

  • Yes i did improvise on a backing track (Shine on you crazy daimond).

  • what amp is used in theis video or is it straight into the pA

  • Fender HRD with Jensen speaker.

  • Anyone know where I can score a case like that?

  • Very nice video. Just bought an new BK Butler pedal. Can't believe I waited this long to get one.

  • Congratulations!

    One of my favourite pedals...

  • My uncle has one of those tube driver's. They're really nice i want one.

  • im no expert, but are all those adaptors really necessary? couldnt you use a daisy chain and a power source?

  • For 9v pedals u could, but pedal like electric mistress u cant, because it is 24v, then u have to use the original power supply.

  • Sure, you're absolutely right.

Ther must be a lot of buzzzzz ;-)

  • You lose tone in a daisy chain.

  • Thats an very cool board! Good luck! (:

  • please, tell me is the suitecase for the pedal board custom, or you can find it somewhere?

  • This whole vid is like a porno for effect pedals!!! Listen to t he song and the slow motion pedal rubbing. and look at how the camera scans all the "details".

those transistors are made to give instant boners!!

and look at those true bypass switches...

    SOOO SEXY!!!!

  • hahah! so its like a porno huh? kinda agree...

  • Hay man. What is the price of Ibanez D E - 7 delay

  • somewhere between 100 -125 US Dollar

  • No man it's only $60. Real cheap.

  • Hay man. How much

  • Lol Shine on you crazy Diamond with Impro !!
