@pmakfpt Haha, Yeah TA was amazing and even though im more into Supcom now i really miss the arm and the core.

What supcom really improved on was base building and expansion. In the sense of units i really do think they took a step back. I miss raiding my enemies with thousands of Peewee's.

yes the buildings are very nice but supcom 1 was ridiculous the omni radar was too powerful and they took out the aerial construction bot. the peewees were a good unit but eventually the match would turn into a war for air domination when i played it.

i preferred the brawler if the enemy had no anti air but my favourite unit was the advanced bombers. no matter how good the defense they ALWAYS got through and destroyed there target. ofcourse it was a kamikaze mission.

@pmakfpt Omni too powerful? I don't think you played the game on anything above 10x10 then. When you are playing a map of 40x40 or 81x81 omni is tiny.

And the air domination is the same in supcom, fast expansion followed by teching and airunits if the round draws on for over 30 minutes.

NO EPICNESS LIKE EARLIER With SupCom 2 GPG has betrayed everything that SupCom FA stood for. The stripped all the epicness away. The battlefields have become much smaller. You have only a few unit types. Experimentals have become uninspiring common cannonfodder and are easily replaceable. No more beautiful sea battles. 'Aeon' don't even have sea units anymore. No feeling of accomplishment in building experimentals or artillery guns. No more real transports, no modding etc. etc. etc.

I HATE this game, Total Anihilation, Supreme Commander and Forged Alliance was big, in small SC2 few units, compared to oryginal, boooooring experimentals. You cant loose because you overloaded your economy (Not enough resuorces = you cant START build something) This game is worst strategy i ever played. (I think because of consoles... ) I like to play on console but MAKING SC2 ALMOST CASUAL BECAUSE OF CONSOLES IS SICK!!!

I play both and when people say starcraft is better it actually is, in a unique way.

It's actually very fun once you learn how to play well, it's a game that is more fun when it's experienced players playing.

But not to be biased heres some good points about SC2:

1. Epic huge fights

2. Epic experimental units

3. Epic map sizes

4. Epic scale

5. Great graphics

6. Great automation in unit-production buildings

Yes if i feel like gaming my whole afternoon and i have that time on my hands i will play supreme commander 1. But if i just want to play say an hour or two i will play supreme commander 2. that is what i love about the game, it is very fast paced and can deliver a great expernice in a very short game time :)

The truth is somewhere between the 2 games. Forged Alliance got a lot of diverse units, great battles, but if you palyed it, you know that building an army that can punch the enemy in the face, it take YEARS to complete! In SupCom2 its a lot faster to build an army, and wont take hours to do a match. So i need Forged Alliance with faster gameplay!
