if I play something that has been written be somebody else (not to mention as great at author of THAT piece) I really like to play it exactly as I has been performed in the original. It is not, however, obligatory. Still, doesn't sound good I guess. This song has so much more than just a guitar, so you gotta be really precise to make it up with just one instrument.

I am using a steel string acoustic. Classical guitars are nylon string acoustics. :-)

But I though nylon strings were easier to fret? I wouldn't choose a guitar for how easy it is to play notes. It seems that you just need to build up some strength in your fingers. Unless there is something wrong with the guitar, fretting notes should not be a concern.

They are designed for different uses. I would say that the dreadnought (steel string) would be more useful over a wider range of music. The classical (nylon string) is primarily used for 'flamenco' style playing. It has a relatively dead or flat sound. They are also quieter.
