Yes you can use the EP you want in the sims 2 doublen deluxe.I have it too with all the expansions :D You can use the cd ou double deluxe or the cd from the most recently expansion pack that you have installed

yeah i've got double delux but as long as you have the base game wich is sims 2 then all ep's will work so yeah it does work with double delux.

Yes. You can really make any type of business which sells objects which are already in the game. (For example you could have a furniture store, car dealers, etc.). You can also have venues and other shops like salons, spas, nightclubs, restaurants, etc. (You need certain EPs for certain ideas).

You buy the furniture then use the "Set for Sale" tool by clicking on the objects in buy mode. Just like toys, clothes, flowers, etc.

salons, gyms, toy stores, clubs, home businesses, electronic store, and anything that you can think of basically!

oh yea and plant/flower store, furniture store appliance store, clothing store, game store, magazine store, and you can also charge them for using objects on a lot. it's like a tall thin black thing and you activate it and program it to how much you want to charge. you can make a community pool, library, or park,= and they'll pay to use the stuff.
