Regarding the issue with the name of the Decepticon tank: google for a Wikipedia article about Brawl. There is written that it is the original Brawl from the series, him being named Devastator is an error / regisseur Michael Bay favoured that name since Devastator sounded more threatening to him than Brawl. We all know the original Devastator, not? ;) ("Constructicons! Transform and merge into..." "DEVASTATOR!")

It's so cool when the Decepticons sound off when they mobilize. And I guess that Allspark isn't picky 'bout who it fixes. Frenzy being the one who got his body restored by it. I think they called Brawl Devastator just to see if those of us who know better would notice.

Personally, I think Devastator sounds more Decepticonish.

I also think the Allspark may have been the essence of Primus.

I liked the Devastator name better myself. I suppose the Allspark may have had Primus' essence, but you'll recall that Prime said that no one knew where it came from as he narrated at the opening of movie.

Considering that In transformers armada, energon, and cybertron Primus is actually Cybertron but that's only in the series.
