  • hey man i have an 84 camaro z28. i was wondering what kind of breakes do you have? im thinking about putting drag brakes on my front and rear but i also sometimes drive it on the streets and ive heard that you dont want to drive drag brakes for street drivin. is that ture?

  • @gorillaz189

We've utilized the Aerospace Drag Brakes on several street cars. I will disclose that they are NOT recommended for the cars over 3200 lbs and are NOT recommended for street cars.

However, they work great. As a driver, you have to be aware that these are not meant for repeated hard stops as well as heavy stock vehicles. If you are a prudent driver they will work fine and are very reliable. Just don't drive like a teanager in a hot wheels toy!

  • thatz @ El Paso,Tx

  • The other thing is not everyone wants to put money in a MUSTANG. I would rather have something nice to Drive around like a Corvette, Viper, Supra, Lambo, Porsche, GT-R etc. (you kinda get the deal)

  • most ppl who race for real dont drive there mom's hand me down civic to a race track cause if you invest alot of money why run it into the ground. supra got owned by a cheaper car and older car and ther reason why i hate ppl who worship imports, they cant back there shit up at all all they wanna race is stock muscle cars. and act like they have done something. this video just makes em bitch even more. excuse excuse. muscle is faster when it comes to motor sports.

  • prepped block or aftermarket?

  • Was that the Mexico border on the left there???

  • hahahaaaaa get some riceeee i love ittttt

  • That car sounds bad ass!!!!!

  • clean coupe! love it all that matters is who crossed the finish line first... run what you brung...

  • @GaHVino

AMEN brother! Part of why I can't stand imports is all the winer's that complain and make excuses. If they can't keep up they need to admit it or get a real motor with 4 more cylinders. I respect almost anything that's fast. This little Gutted, Turbo & Nitrous import was fast. Point is we were and still are FASTER on our little all motor coupe. Game Over...move on please!

  • @THRstang yup thats why I dont race them anymore. They always have an excuse! "You have more cubic inches" "You have slicks" "You have a shot of nitrous" "Your car is a full out drag car" even though I drove my car to the track with ac/heater and a stereo...and the classic one "I hate going from a dig, lets do a roll race 40mph"

Roll race = driver factor is taken out of the equation + setup

Dig Race= driver factor + setup

  • The four banger sounded like a pissed of weed eater

  • @bullittben50 all them do!

  • wow that integra is fast.. well they are both fast!

  • Looks like that import caught up with it easily

  • @corvey

Yep, that's what happens when a Mustang hits the brakes after crossing the line...the imports catch up for a ricer fly by. :)

  • @THRstang LOL! That black mustang sounds real good.. I have a 94 GT

  • @THRstang That stang was still balls out when that import was catching it. at no point did he hit the brakes. Nice explanation, im not buying it.

  • @ethorman30

Sorry but it's not "HE" hit the brakes. I was driving sir and when you trap over 128mph at the top end of the track running 8,000 rpm's you don't jack the brakes when you roll through the finish line, you ease into lifting off and then start to brake when the chassis transistions. Point of the comment originally was that we crossed fist and the import stared at the lights from start to finish. Timeslips show Mustang 1st, hence the import lost, period. Sorry pal!

  • @THRstang You said that the only reason the import cought you is because you hit the brakes after crossing the finish line. You can clearly hear the engine of your mustang gaining rpms, and you can clearly see the import sucking you up at the end. You are lucky this was a 1/8 mile race, or he would have blown your doors off.

  • @ethorman30

Keep dreaming and watching your slow and riduclous vids holmes, this WAS A 1/4 MILE RACE and my timeslip still reads 1st across. Good luck keeping up.

  • @ethorman30 I bet you masturbate to all the fast and furious movies

  • @corvey and lost

  • that integration sounds nasty

  • how much for the beast..

  • @omargabmle2

$25k turn key. PM for more options/details. Once we completed the rear suspension, yes this 10.85 @ 128 was with the stock rear suspension hence the wheels spin and soft 60 ft of 1.67, she ran 10.10-10.20 all day. We also have a few LXs available.

  • Stock Block????

  • What kind of trans you runnin ??

  • @juztanotherday2

It's a Face-Plated TKO with 26 spline input shaft and a Spec III Clutch. We later swapped to a Ram Clutch, but both are great for street/strip action and high RPM (8000 rpm) passes.

  • @THRstang oh beautiful, i wish, im just running a t5 with a tremec gear set with carbon fibre internals, 28 spline output with hardend input shafts, it works for now, but im going with more power soon and the t5 i got built is already stressing, i need to build something new, what would you recommend, do you like the liberty trans?

  • Ricers even do flybys during burnouts!

  • Who let that obnoxious rice can in the show?

  • Btw thanks for the quick reply. You're right, it does sound scary. Im gonna look into those mufflers for my fox :)

  • what head cam and intake?

  • What kind of exhaust is on here? If any??

  • @88gt306

Kooks 1 7/8 primary to 3 inch Long Tubes, 3 inch Kooks X-pipe, Kooks 3in Quad Core Race Bullits! They sound simply scary! (Especially at 8,ooo RPM!!)

  • second E.T. runners. Moreso than your friends phaggytime ricerocket or any of his friends. Everytime I go to the track, or watch Pinks, or vids on youtube, there's a notch or a hatch in there somewhere, if not a shit ton of them. So stop the "my friends xyz runs 9's bitch" comments and STFU. THR- Very respectable builds. Love all of them. RIP my 91 coupe.

  • Lol. It's always "my friends car is faster than...", "it's this and that". Well, what do you have? Probably nothing, but there's always a slight possibility that you may have something alright. But I bet you aren't anywhere close to 11's, or 12's even, let alone single digits. This is why ricer phaggots like you (xxOMAR313xx) should just keep their mouths shut. I know you said you love muscle, and that's cool, but just face it, there's 3194883574237956 coupes and hatches (mustangs) that are low

  • sounds smooth, like it was built right.

  • where is this?

  • dam nice car stick too wow

  • Love the notch, keep the haters looking at the taillights!!

  • @juztanotherday2

You got that right! Most who are posting negative comments don't have anything that could touch these little coupes with a nasty small block set up. It will always be a battle on public forums. I love anything that's fast and clean period. I prefer it not be an import, but I respect how fast they can make those cars. If they'd put that same interest and capital into a muscle car it would fly!

  • good looking car but my mustang will blow the doors off that car i ran in about 32 state's and still have not found a car to take it's all motor and my 1998 Toyota Supra runs faster on motor

  • my friends all motor k20 Eg hatch runs 9's bitch haha

  • @xxOMAR313xx

Great, bring it up here to 4200 ft elevation and stare at the coupe's tailights while it runs away all motor against your boosted hatch. Imports can't compete with American Muscle when you're playing around with 1/2 a motor to start with man! I can appreciate anything fast, clean, and well thought out, but why start with your mom's civic to build a race car?

  • @THRstang No disrespect to american muscle but they are fast and very fun to drive im actually buying a 88 fox next week but you cant underestimate a civic. Man my boy's "half engine" hatch is gutted and has a k20/k24 swap in it. Trust me when i say that he will smoke almost any car at the strip AND at the TRACK. Its just to well tunned but dont get me wrong i love american muscle ;)

  • @THRstang I think you got that backwards man. It's BOOSTED engine. Altitude won't mean a DAMN thing because it's still going to get the air it needs to make that power. The turbine will just have to spin faster to make the boost.

  • @THRstang Honestly though who gives a fuck what someone starts with to build a car. If someone wants to build a 4 cylinder let them. You can say all this stuff about respecting stuff thats fast but All I see you doing is hating on them for running a 4 cylinder. That kind of makes your comments look condescending. Just saying.

  • @xxOMAR313xx sur it does

  • @xxOMAR313xx Your a fucking retard, im a honda guy and no way is your friends EG even streetable to run 9's. you turd.

  • @d00mofhumanity ahha shut up homiee. its was a k24/k20 set up type r head with skunk 2 stage 4 cams. ITBS and drag radials + it was gutted. Learn your shit lil kid.

  • What gearing do you got stacked in the rear end, and if you dont mind as far as tranny goes what are you running.... if your running t5 what gears? And for hooking are you using the jack plates in the rear for adjustment, ect... thanks

  • @xXCannonXx

Thanks for your questions. At the time of this vid we had stock rear suspension. It was a last minute decision to run the car in a local shoot out and we didn't have time to get the rear suspension in on short notice.

As for the gearing, it's running 4.56's due to the 28 inch tall rear tires and 8,000 rpm engine. The trans is a Tremec that has been FacePlated and converted to 26 spline input to handle over 500 HP and the hi rpm shifts. It's like a hot knife through butter!

  • Good pony, eating rice like a real horse.

  • how is that a ricer flyby stop hating the other car is sick too

  • Whats the compression on this 347?

  • gonna have to spend some more dough there mr. chin

  • Ricer had he's hopes up......lol

  • typical ricer fly by LOL

  • @areautomotive

Exactly! Best part is showing them tailights of an ALL Motor smallblock when they're running 20+ psi of boost and NOS!

  • @THRstang come on nice car but enough with the bullshit already

i hate the idiotic fighting between muscle and import......

i like both, anything fast...if its fast and cheap and reliable i love it

i also hate the douchebags who give imports a bad name with all of their stickers and their fart cannons and their bigass wings on a stock car...

same goes for muscle guys that think their shit doesnt stink and they cant be beaten

    nice all motor fbody

  • @THRstang how many horses?

  • what a good looking steed...

  • @NYConnoisseur

Thank you sir. Check out some of the rest of our stangs! Cheers...

  • @THRstang I have and they are great, big fan here.
