  • Joke is that she still acts like a Republican.

    Hillary = Lieberman.

    t

  • glad she switched. We have enough problems without hilderbeast!

  • At least you're man enough to admit it....

    See ya later GOP!

  • See she flips on many issues including parties. She used to a republican and she she bad mouths them. If that isn't a pot calling a kettle black!

  • lol. i think its funny that liberals say she is republican. no. her and rudy are liberals. if you want a bigger government and more taxes, you are liberal no questions about it

  • Uh, I want higher taxes for the top 1%, yes. Tax the fuck out of the rich people. Repeal W's tax cuts and repeal Reagan's tax cuts. I won't mind paying more taxes if everybody richer than me has to pay a higher RATE than me. I'm not crazy about Hillary, but you can't compare her to Rudy. That's just mean. Define "bigger government".

  • The rich already by far pay the majority of taxes, why take away the incentive for wanting to make more money?

  • If you benefit more from infrastructure and protection etc. and all the things taxes pay for, you need to put more of what you earn back into the system. You really think that if we tax the rich more than the poor, people will lose the motivation to earn more!? Laughable. How about we just UNDO the tax cuts for the rich that Bush and Reagan made before we start raising taxes on anybody?

  • There isn't an argument... the rich pay, by far, the majority of the taxes. Its piss poor money management and ridiculous ear marks that keep us in debt.

  • Wow, you must be, like, a billionare. I agree that fiscal irresponsibility is to share the blame, but the rich SHOULD pay a higher rate. There IS an argument, i made it above, and lots of people agree. Just because you disagree with that argument does not mean it does not exist.

  • The richest 1% of households in the U.S. are now paying a record 27.6% of all federal taxes and a record of 38.8% of all federal income taxes.

The top 1.1 million households (the evil rich) pay a greater share of the income tax burden than the bottom 90 million households combined.

The nation's tax burden has been shifting away from typical Americans to the wealthiest households since the early 1980s.

  • Uh, who said "evil"? I'm well aware the sums we're talking about. Who cares? It's all about the rates, baby. You make more because our infrastructure allows it? You gotta put more back in. Simple. You're not addressing that, just spouting the same tired rhetoric. Still think people will say, "Yeah, I could earn more but then I'd just get taxed more, so I'll just keep making the same wage, thanks,"?

  • laffertafey ... You dare alledge that democrats would raise taxes? Talk instead of the 7 trillion dollars debt that Bush and the republicans caused and placed over the head of future generations to come. It is the largest federal debt in US history!! Are you so out of touch with reality to post such nonsense?

  • She still is a Republican, despite her claims.

  • No she's a communist.

  • Explain. Communist in what way?

  • Have you heard her ideas on wealth distribution? controling the markets?

  • What a frakking liar! My father is from Park Ridge, he went to Main South with her, and can testify that she (at least in High School) was a blue-blooded Democan't! The most ineffectual presidency in history (besides Carter), Clinton, gave our secrets away in Chinagate and surrendered in the early War on Terror...do we really want a sequel to that?
