I attented a Roy Burns Clinic. He put me right beside his drums and asked me to close my eyes. He did a roll from slow to very fast. He asked me to guess what it was. It was double stroke but it was so even it had to be a fast single stroke. He then did it again, with my eyes opened, it was a left hand single stroke. His palm was wide open, he only used his thumb. He said it took him an hour a day for 5 years. 35 years later I still can't do it. Thanx for posting and cheers to the master.
