Vietnam was a sad chapter in American history. Draftees who basicly fought the war as myself came from low income families unable to escape the draft unless you were ex-President William Jefferson Clinton who used a ruse that he was enrolling into the ROTC program at the University of Arkansas and then fled to England. 59,916 young me died in Vietnam and I was witness to some of this tragic loss with the 101st Abn Div Camp Evans. We did our duty because it was the law.
@wilcarr1 Australia also shares that sad chapter and drafting was pretty much the same. When our Government tried to bring Australian troops back home, the Queen of England gave the Governor General power to sack our Prime Minister - a move that outraged every Australian. Sadly many lives were lost during that wrongful war.
@aldez88 what are you saying you absolute fucker do you not care about your fucking life would rather live in a slum or in a fucking house americans did so well and you talk about them like they're shit you son of a bitch!!!
As a citizen of the U K we had no part in the Vietnam war ,but I have nothing but admiration for the nearly 59'000 young men who died for their country in Vietnam.Drafted against their will, they fought and died for the U.S.of A .And all I can say is GOD BLESS AMERICA !!

I thank God that they are NOT getting coverage in the war today. Yes! We are still at war with the 'bad guys', the terrrorists...who ever they may be...'foreign, AND DOMESTIC! I HATE ALL HIPPIES!
