I am 43 years old and recently home bound and wanting to start playing the guitar is there a beginners song that you suggest i can start on. my name is lawrence my email is mustangcue@msn.com
Man i've been playing guitar for about 5 months and i've been wondering how can i improve my skills?i just got to a point and i'm not improving at all....i dont know should i play scales or something??i'm good at chords but suck at solo...:(
Marty, you're a sicko. Even your lovely little daughter has guitars on her T-shirt. Love it. I'll bet her first pair of earings are going to be the same thing!
wow great video man, im gonna have to save that and keep rewatching it! the different varaitions using on certain string was awesome.... never thought of that!!!!
@martyzsongs awesome, thanks.Im gonna take you up on that! You have been a real inspiration and great teacher.Your teaching methods are incredible, always giving us a foundation of why it works and what its based around .Keep up the good work and thank you.Going to go order right now!!
Marty must be piling up the money with the new Les Paul his jammin' on! Go Marty! (Should of purchased the Heritage H-100 series!, support the original Gibson Factory!). Seriously, great guitar and invaluable lessons!
Strat vs Les Paul - You are going to play with a band for a one night gig. Space is limited to one guitar, Which guitar do you take assuming the "new" has worn off the Les Paul.
@msabaseball1293 if u want a tremelo stuff. and u want a lil' lighter sound than a gibson. than go for prs. actually (prs is more of a cross-breed b/w a LP or SG & A Strat) so, its a lil more versatile. But gibson, is classic guitar which is versatile too..but on its own preferences. Its has a warm & deep sound if u plug it in a fine sound ranging stack. My advice goto a shop & try both the stuff out. concentrate on 2 things, ur hands adjustment on the thing & comparisions of sound. good luck!
Hey marty long time no speak but will you please tell me how i am at singing i have a video of me singing T- pain please comment it and give me feed back
@guitarjamzdotcom dude u should make more vids like these ... what i mean is that u show us how to like use techiques to preety( if u will) up the ordinary chords the rhythm guitarist would play...i suggest u do this if u can...btw awesome lessons.... everytime i even just hear u play something i learn from it... i watch one lesson every 5 days cuz i get so much out of that if i keep doing lessons 2 much ill 4get some of the stuf i jus learned.......and i think im writing 2 much so ima end this
I think he says he started when he was about 18, and he's probably in his mid/late 30s. so probably about 18-23 or so years. actually I'm horrible at guessing ages, so don't take my word for it.
@guitarjamzdotcom woah...thats incredible. great determination. thats one boost to my dedication even more and more. thanks marty for all the effort you have applied, for your students.
@guitarjamzdotcom Fek it ill be lucky to be as good as you after that many years...!! haha im not gonna bother doin the maths...!! haha ill wait til next week for that..!! haha :)
@popomczowzow Right that gives me a little hope...!! haha im 14 and i started about last november/december and i like to think im andfairly good at it!! haha so hopefully after aqbout 18-23 illbe as good as him...!! :D:D:D
Ahh, Marty. Separting yourself from the rest of the family by a puke-coloured sheet to get away and just jam out some tunes on the guitar. I like it. And is that a new shelf I see there @ 5:49?
Hey MrNoexcuses..... I bet the police are knocking on your door asking for your powers of deduction!!!!!!! It was a joke, or maybe he really did mean nests??? Are you two friends?
