I would HIGHLY recommend it in that case. Get a decent 1,200$ electronic V-Drum kit and you'll be flying in no time. Electronic drums are like playing on practice pads. Drummers play on practice pads to help build their strength on the accoustic drums themselves. I would recommend one thing if you are double kicking. Don't use this guys kick receiver (pick-up) you can see it's narrow. sometimes misses a beat because one of the beaters will hit a mm away from the trigger, lol.

Ya I love the kit but the kick trigger sucks. Really soft and tiny so not very accurate. I would like to get one of those big Roland mesh head kicks but they are hundreds of dollars and I don't even know if it will work right with my Yamaha.

Yea, I know what you mean - I use iron cobras too. I found that changing the sensitivity of the kick pad so its not pressure sensitive the best option. Makes it sound better and you don't get as many missed kicks, just set the kick velocity ranges the same.

I don't read music, especially drums. Just listen to the song man you can figure out what the drummer is doing. Ways to the Grave is pretty easy other than that really fast blast beat part so it shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

How does he take the L/R outputs from that into His computer is what i wanted to know....

I have a some cable adapters. First from the brain is a 2 to 1 adapter that I plug into the L and R output jacks. I have a cable that plugs into that with a mic sized jack at the end to plug in my pc. I play the song in a recording program on the computer and play along to it. Adjust the levels when I'm done and walla.
