This was the part in the game where you had really had to play. The previous boss fights were spoon-fed victories in a way while Gizamaluke was the first boss where you left to fend for yourself. The Lamia's also did not make it easy either, thank goodness they were only found in the room with the big bell.

When FF IX came out in Europe in February 2001, I was disappointed by the game as I was a great fan of FFVIII. In 2009 after playing FFIII and FFIV remakes on DS, I played FF 9 once again and i felt the depth of the characters and scenario and the magic it emanated from. And the masterpiece oF FFIX soundtrack is this tune. I must say that the whole soundtrack is unforgettable.
