I also hate it for a very ridiculously personal reason that isn't even their fault.

I lag like hell. I am absolutely lag free with the Sims 2 :D Even with 420 something files of custom content.

the sims 3 sucks. i got it when it first came out and it messed up my computer.not only that but i have a stainless steel computer,a brand new model and it told me that my computer wasnt updated enough to play the sims 3.personally,i think the sims 3 slows your computer down,and wastes your time with all the options.sims 2 is much easier to use and much more fun.my family and i love the sims 2.^.^
