  • I think your moves are too strong for this song , isn't it Hula Auana? ;) I know "Aia La o Pele" but in version Hula Kahiko.

  • @SenSumire :) This mele is actually originally a hula kahiko, hence the strong motions. I didn't choreograph this number, but I believe the choreographer may have still wanted to show some of the seriousness from this song. It's kind of up to the choreographer. Also, as being kane, I was taught to always dance a little strong to show masculinity, but that is also an interpretation based on the style of the halau created by the kumu and my skills of being able to perpetuate that style

  • Also, there's different choreography for wahine which is much more graceful
