I would argue also that there are very few reliable historians who doubt the historicity of Christ. The only doubt is whether he rose from the dead. I would also like you to point out WHICH historians agree on a Jesus. There are none. And I say the Bible is not a historical document because in order for it to be taken as FACT it would need OTHER creditable sources that claim the same thing... there are none.

If you look into it (particularly at how historians rate historical documents) you'll discover that the Bible is the most reliable document of all ancient documents available. Out of all the historic documents (some date long before 500 BC) we have, there is literally NONE (with the exception of the bible... which is not a historical document at all.) that have any mention of Jesus or a special baby born in Bethleham. In fact, Jesus was only ever spoke of 70 YEARS after he supposedly died. Just saying.

@Goddard008 wow seriously? where do you get your facts? There are definitely historical documents... Josephus, Lucius, Tacitus, etc! I would argue also that there are very few reliable historians who doubt the historicity of Christ. The only doubt is whether he rose from the dead. Again I would tell you to check your sources... and then also consider whether perhaps you yourself have been brainwashed!

I would also like you to point out WHICH historians agree on a Jesus. There are none. And I say the Bible is not a historical document because in order for it to be taken as FACT it would need OTHER creditable sources that claim the same thing... there are none.

If you look into it (particularly at how historians rate historical documents) you'll discover that the Bible is the most reliable document of all ancient documents available. There are no other with existing copies that are in such a close time frame as the Bibles. so again i would ask, where are you getting all of this?

@henstep10 Also... the reason there are no other "documents" from that time period is because the Catholic church BURNT DOWN the Library of Alexandria in order to PRESERVE their lie. Because religious following was the majority, people were quick to back up the actions of Theophilus, and then the Muslim empire shortly after. Mostly because all the books in the library completely DENIED Jesus, or had NO mention of him. Seriously.. read a real book... not the bible. You might learn something.
