Thx for the tips, I'm shooting my first wedding in three weeks and have been researching like crazy. I have a question: For staged group portraits should I bring a portable lighting setup with tripod, light stands, umbrellas etc, or should I go hand held with with a wireless flash on my assistant?
@DCuerpoJr Depends on how much help and time you have, I have never brought out studio light because I know personally I take too long to set up the lights and get them in the right place, and my assistant is normally backing up photos at this time, so I just use what a have such is normally a camera and a small flash, one thing you could do is find a place to set up before the wedding and have it ready, I just don't know how safe it will be lol
