That happened to me and I put the ink back it till it snapped an if that still didn't work unplug the Michene and if it still dosent work keep doing it and make sure u have the card snapped in watch the touritals and if u still need to call Barbie prouducts and it's on the inside of the instructions first page! Hope this helps!!!

The trick is getting the image centered on your nail! The ink is tough to get off of your skin. Use alignment card and make sure you push the back, so that the bottom tray comes up and holds the alignment card on its own. Also, make sure you do the same when your finger is in there or you wont get the image. You will feel the ink brush lightly on your nail. Must use white polish and clear coat. Keep a bottle of nail polish remover handy until you get the hang of it! We bought at Toys R Us.
