@davo05 It's called the world series because back in the day (with babe ruth) they traveled all over the world Egypt, Japan, Mexico, Ect. to spread the Baseball cheer but it failed and it only reached a few other countries so instead of them calling it "THE WORLD SERIES BUT NOT REALLY JUST MEXICO, JAPAN AND AMERICA" which by the way sounds completely retarded they stuck with the WORLD SERIES. I agree with you the American series would make sense but WORLD SERIES sounds so much better. PEACE!
