Would be awesome if TGC would try to achieve the best possible with at least medium hardware too, not to mention on low end, their products are pretty much useless.

The Commodore 64 had demos which did things what couldn't have been done till the mid 90's on a PC, why everybody now concentrates on the biggest hardware and sits back smiling while it is only accessible for the 10% of gamers?..

No, It will not. Windows XP, NO matter what version, Does not support DirectX 10. All games, including FPS Creator X10 is in-compatible with Windows XP

FPSC X10 has one of the most advanced Direct X 10 graphics engines on the market.

FPS Creator V1, is more widely compatible with older systems and hardware.

Model packs are mostly designed for V1, these import new characters and media.

ok first off. im having a problem with the first FPS creator.

it seems to keep closing its self right when i kill a cetain amount of edited colonel x's. i added bazookas to them to make them more intimidating and scary XD and it worked because when i found the tunnel that leads to them i had forgotten about them lol.

second i cant seem to get enough free space on my computer to be able to make sure i have the space required. any ideas?

Its ok but it gets laggy when you make big maps. tbh there not big if you do a room like in this video its fine. Then if you add a corridor to another room it gets laggy and ive got a really good gaming machine it will be messed up for mid range players. so i just didn't bother with it no more plus i had problems with ragdoll effects.

To make a good game in FPSC with own models, textures and sprites you need some skills and patience, and you need scripting knowledge. It has nothing to do with being pro code. Sure, the program makes much easier to create a game, but thats the whole idea of the thing. You don't need any coding skills, so you can concentrate on your whole project. I don't know why it should be bad creating a game without knowing c++ or else.

It's better to try and create something than sitting on the ass and just judging over people that want to make something own. Of course you cant create a game like Crysis in FPSC. The engine is simply not powerful enough. And nobody says: "h3y dud3 l00k, iM t0t4Ly PwN4g3 G4m3 pr0dUc3R lik3 THQ!" Seriously man, the point is to do something own with the possibilitis that one single person has (and not a whole gamestudio with coding skills like EA). So i think the FPSC is a very good product.

Yes a 9500 GT will work, however expect a a slight frame rate decrease when adding water to your level. I have experienced this with my 9600 GT.

There is a free version of FPS Creator V1, X10 and V1 both have the same basic interface, you can get it from the The Game Creators website. I suggest you get the free version, play around with it, then if you're happy get X10 with it's additional features and more advanced graphics engine.

godmax1, go to Preferences and turn your graphics up! Optimize your game by making smart design choices! Also, download the mature patch. And, if you run slow, you obviously need a better PC. Your Specs must not meet the minimum OR you just don't know how to optimize your game to run well. FSC X10 is the best game creating program EVER, you just need to know how to optimize its performance.

Sorry but the 8400 GS is too slow you need a 8600 GT with 320Mb ram minimum.

The alky project is not offical microsoft technology, so we never tested FPSC X10 with it, nor was it designed with Alky in mind. If you want full, stable Direct X 10 support you will have to upgrade to Vista.

I don't think the 6100 SE is compatible with DX10. If it is I doubt the performance would be very good. DirectX 10 compatible means that I can play them, but probably at 3 FPS.
