Love glen campbell and love his cover of this song but glen looks a little awkward without a gee-tar strapped to his shoulder....its like he doesnt know what to do with himself while other people do the guitar solos...sorry if that sounded negative or overly critical cuz i DO think the man is a living legend and a musical genius.
I don't think Foo Fighters realised it at the time, but they wrote a country song with 'Times Like These'; it just works better when it's performed in this style. Also, check out Ryan Adams' version for a more intimate alt. country version. That's brilliant, too.
Embarassingly, I've listened to Wichita Lineman 382 times in the last month per my playlist stats. This song might just replace it. Awesome. Country dudes do it better. Thanks for posting.
Went to see Glen in Vegas June 07 Fabulous performer and singer. whatever he sings he commands the song and never disappoints, unique voice never to be bettered. 5 Star
He totally makes this song his own, doesn't take anything away from the Foo Fighters version, just rocks it.

You really should do a little research about world-class musicians and living legends like Glen Campbell before you make such dimwitted comments...

I like Glenn Campbell alot but really think the song choice for this album were smart choices. It just feels very contrived and doesnt really work.
