i dont think snes is better. seems about the same. but what i was saying is the 3do has more hardware i would of thought i could of improved on the game a little.
Coincidence, I had just got my 3DO RGB modded and am currently looking into an NES video upgrade. I own both and enjoy them but 3DO titles like this one age better.
something that has always bothered me was that this is suppose to be the best home version of the game, but didn't the 3DO only have 5 buttons? 3 face and 2 finger? How did they handle he controls?
ANyways never played it on the 3D0 but I remember seeing that intro screen in the arcades and it blowing my mind.
I have a 3do and only 3 games (so far) I have "samuri shodown" "super street fighter" and "return fire" any suggestions on "good" 3do games would be gratefull ,I like 2d beat fighters ,beat em ups and shooters..
i can recommend total eclipse. looks awesome, plays good, lots of stages. other good shooters are the 2 Wing commander and Shockwave games. Star blade is also cool. you should try need for speed, road rash and crash n burn if you want to try out racing games. if you like basket ball check out slam n jam or Fifa soccer for soccer. and if you happen to be a die hard fan of Tia Carrere get Daedalus encounter. a not so great but gory beat em up is way of the warrior.
3DO didn't have any protection, so anyone can download the games and burn on CD, I suggest for you Road Rash,Gex, Way of the Warrior,Need For Speed,Wolfstein,Crash and Burn or even Sailormoon.
That was too bad too. They totally marketed the system as an interactive multi player and not a video game machine and payed the price for real quick. I still have one and it still works. Can't say the same for my first PS. The system akso has internal memory one of the first solid state Hard Drives of sorts.
Well if you mean this game in paticular the 3DO Version blew the PS version to bits. In terms of game play speed sound and graphics. I only seen a few other games that were on both systems I have the 3do version but not the PS versions. So this was the only game I could compare considering I had it for both systems. There are other 3do machines that were faster and had much faster load times. The system was capable of so much more they just had poor marketing.

wow, i remember the 3DO.... Playstation absolutely mauled it, didn't last long in the market at all.
