  • @Todoslosfritos Erm, no... This is a piece of music was compossed by Puccini in 1926, not Pavarotti. It is from Turandot, and this piece (Nessun Dorma) is but a small part of the opera performed during its third act. Pavarotti is very well known for his rendition of it, and probably most times it is heard it is Pavarotti your hearing. However, it was originally performed by the Spanish tenor Miguel Fleta in the role of Calaf. So no, this chap didn't 'stole this shit'.

  • @TheKuriIchi LMAO!!! =)

  • @TheKuriIchi I bet you call Pavarotti "Pavo" for short. Because you seem to know him so well.

  • @Todoslosfritos LOL, wouldn't it have been better to say something like... 'Bet you call Puccini "Cini" for short. Because you seem to know him so well. ' ... That would have been far more relevant to what I was actually saying. Sulking dosn't fit well on 26 year olds, so pop your bottom lip back in now old boy.

  • @TheKuriIchi LOL you're smart for a 12 year old.

  • 240p? really?

  • @tormariegatehouse Really with his voice you are actually complaining about the resolution of the video? :P

  • lol they got hairy backs!.

  • great song great voice pavarotti would have been proud

  • To think that there's more people like him in this world who have the same or similar background as Paul and yet they are to scared to do this...

  • This makes me cry..

  • Love this song...

Paul singing as Calaf who is a suitor for the known cold hearted Princess. He has passed the princess' 3 riddles, she does not want to marry him, so Calaf sets a task. The Princess must learn his name by sunrise, if she wins he will be beheaded. If Calaf wins he wins the Princess' hand in marriage. Nessun Dorma is what the princess called out "No one shall sleep" 'till his name is learnt. Calaf's last words were I will win, I will win, I will win!

  • @jonty811 thank you for that information! for someone who doesnot know much about opera it is brilliant to have an idea on the background of the piece as it helps us to better appreciate it:)

  • this guy is absolutely fanatstic

  • @jn2006 He sure is.

  • Nice top. He seems very secure there. Middle can be developed ... I just pray he does not let management burn him out too soon. Good Luck, Paul.

  • Somehow his voice clicks something in heart, stirring emotions and trembling the body. It's like coming from inside, not outside.

  • @1979922yam

    A cum shot?

  • @1979922yam Heheh, coming.

  • "can you get me a Nokia 6210?"

  • @SitchicoKoS i'd rather have an HTC Desire!

  • Paula Eduarda 11 years Old - Brazil - Susan Boyle - I Dreamed A Dream QST qual seu talento Britain's Got Talent........... /watch?v=v4bakBcZkoQ

  • The 3 biggest stars of BGT are Paul Potts, Connie Albot and Susan Boyle to me. I still can't believe Susan Lost to a dancing group. Here in Holland in Holland's got talent we have a same story as Paul. Martin a baker who lost his job won Hollands got talent as an opera singer here is the clip check him out. search martin hollands got talent

  • @wolvie667 Diversity deserved it more, Susan Boyle got like 1Million dollars just for going on Oprah Winfrey show. She didn't even care when she found out she lost.

  • i'm not saying Potts has no talent at all but he's not opera singer.

What makes this guy great is the face that he had that voice hidden in him. Stop being ass and just listen to great piece of opera

  • RESPECT

  • absolutley brillant

  • 8===D~~

  • This makes me feel like theres hope for humanity.

  • @Jcrux92 V.V I feel the same way. Beauty! Pure beauty his talent is!

It makes me cry happy tears! ^-^

  • @Jcrux92 It's a shame there isn't

  • @Jcrux92 - And then you remember the song friday. ;)

  • @Jcrux92 how the fuck do you get that feeling from a tv show? LOL easily inspired.

  • @noobhealz402 because they appreciate someone doing something brilliant, you t*t

  • @jaytheo99 "Hope for Humanity" when some guy sings opera... wtf? A sign of hope is if everyone helped everyone out. You do realize this show boos people off stage if they suck right? Where's the hope in that? It's a show.

  • I feel the complete opposite. Instead of people caring about the government corruption, global disease, starvation, wars, lost of habitats, endanger species, children labor, etc, everyone just watches this or Family Guy. If you wouldve said it in a video where lives are saved by others,i would agree.Instead, thousands die everyday. The majority is not educating themselves about the important stuff that affect us as a whole. Most are just blind puppets in their little safe world. Enjoy it while it last.

  • @Jcrux92 Until he finishes xD

  • its amazing this guy's gifted:)

  • someones looking pretay fly

  • Guys, if he followed music from the beginning of his life, i bet my money that he would the brittish Pavarotti!!!

Unfortunatly, he didnt find his inner singer when he was a child, but finally, HE FOUND IT!

  • I'm so happy for him!!

  • Words cannot express the emotions that stir during this performance. Paul is truly a gift to us all. What passion!!! He is a reminder to all of humanity to wake up and live life full of love, passion, and zeal!! BRAVO!!!!

  • The word EPIC just jizzed all over my face.

  • In some ways, he reminds me of Andrea Bocelli.

  • y realmente vencio!

  • As a classically trained musician, I am sick people who imitate records, and fool only the ignorant.

  • so wath happen to Paul? he make some cds? he still sell phones? became opera singer or wath?

i really hope he at least make some good cash with his 5 minutes of fame

  • @Pistolero3 Since Paul won this competition three years ago, he's made two albums (third to be released soon), given concerts around the world, and gotten heavily involved in charity work. He has a big heart as well as a big voice!

  • @RebeccaRev thnx im so happy to know that Paul dont just get his 5 min of fame and disapear and even more knowing he is doing charity, thanks u make my day ^^

  • @MegaNight666 hahaha totally agree

  • @MegaNight666 Do you know what "Opera" is? Look it up, and come back to listen to this. You are real ignorant.

  • @MegaNight666 still he have better voice than A LOOOOOOT of pop musicians.

  • @MegaNight666 comeing from the guy who has nothing to show for with his account....no sir you are the loser.

  • @AVGN4life1 Accounts are not part of the argument you fucking loser! What, you think that because a user has a million friends, they have more credibility? You are so brainwashed by modern society its not even funny. Now go fuck yourself and the horse you rode in on you pathetic piece of SHIT! Go and praise your fucking JEW masters you fucking piece of SHIT!

  • @MegaNight666

and the fact that your trying to use jews as an insult.....no.....your the loser.....and what do hourses have to do with anything, in the words of you horses are not part of the argument.

  • @MegaNight666 Why dont you try sticking your head up your ass?? ha?? to see if it fits. you fucking cockroach

  • twr959- I agree!!!

  • im gona call and vote for him now:P

  • vote up if your from the negus video

  • It's spelt "Turandot", not "Tuarandot", how much do you know about any particular work if you can't even spell it?

I'm also amazed at the attempts to spell "Pavarotti", still, I'm sure you know how to spell "Pizza with all the toppings" and "Cheeseburger with extra fat"!

  • Terrible Italian, wobbly vibrato, pitch wanders, head bobbles, has to use a microphone...PITIFUL!!!

  • @goldenthroat86 Ever heard of a troll?????

  • @Touqeee Ever hear of a music critic?

  • @goldenthroat86 LOL

no actually for that u need to be qualified,

    No offense intended

    Frens:D

  • @Touqeee I have my B.M. from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music where I studied with tenor Richard Miller, arguably the greatest voice teacher of the 20th century. I have my Masters in Music from Yale University and have been a professional classical singer for the past 27 years. I think that makes me qualified to speak critically about Paul.

Also, I do something Paul doesn't: Sing CLASSICAL music professionally. I don't need amplification to be heard over an orchestra 5x the size of Paul's.

  • @goldenthroat86 LOL

ur pro grandpa (ur experience is twice my age)

i just thought that ur another troll trying to annoy people by hurting their feelings

and sorry again if anything hurt u

as i said i didnt mean to.

    anyways take care

  • @goldenthroat86 could u do better? if u can prove it

  • @chippymc12 Would you also ask a film critic who gave a popular movie a poor review if he could make a better film?

  • @goldenthroat86 Pavarotti often used microphone. That place is not built for opera. Technique doesnt matter to me. Its a great voice. Not as deep as many other tenors but thats why i like it.

  • He got so much better from watching his audition to this. Much more refined. His voice is like velvet, just incredible.

  • He deserves winning ;) He always gives me goosebumps everytime I hear him sings...GOOD JOB!!!! :)

  • Great

  • I never thought I'd hear this song again *wipes tears from her eyes* GO PAUL GO!!

  • el señor se debe tirar unos pedos con tronidos de inframundo

  • I LOVE YOUR MUSIC

  • extraordinaire, très belle voix et très bonne interprétation

  • Perfecto, muy legitima su voz, deberían apoyarlo para que crezca en ese campo. Alex A.

  • Who are the idiots who doesn't like that..!

They must be very narrow minded..

  • Such a soothing voice!

  • absolutely amazing. this guy is the greatest.

  • Even though i CANT understand the lyrics ..just by hearing it by singing I FELT IT!! XD

  • @krizzia232323 U cant cuz its italian my friend lol

  • SUPERSTAR

  • Sucks that a singer wins -.- Singing is for idol

  • @danigazm09 you really think this type of singer would win Idol....? Idol os for fake pop music!

  • God has given him the voice to entertain us. God bless you Paul, and we thank you so much! Amen.

  • Is,Paul Potts, the illegitimate son of Pol Potts. The head of the Khmer Rough?

  • @thecrew221 might be a clone.. >_>

  • le meilleur de tous les temps merci de donner une chance au amateur.der beste alle zeiten danke fur diese chance fur ihn er hat es tausendmallverdient.thanks vor all thanks.

  • God bless this person and his voice is blessing for my ears.

  • He is not a Pavarotti or Bocelli. He has a distance to go yet, but he will get there. This young man is more than deserving. It's his turn. He is going to get better with each performance and possibly some extra coaching on the side. I hope he is a long life in which he will greatly enrich the world. The underdog does not always lose. Go to the top, Paul!!! Again, it's your turn.

  • I agree, he is superb but I think it's just too hard to try and listen to Nessun Dorma without putting Pavarotti's voice into it...

  • hes n angel to make peace with his songs. and i admire him for sharing his voice. and making people feel happy and merry. i hope paul makes his songs heard thru the whole world and never forget that his songs are the should of any musicians.

  • Oh My... What vocals. As a man..A tear to my eye. OH My... the voice

  • Well done Paul. I wouldnt read anything below. its gone crazzzzzy. good luck my friend.

  • This guy always gives goose bumps. Man! It's the feeling on his voice, it's the power that comes from his mouth.

Oh Wow! And then there's people who say that God doesn't exist, when here is the living proof the HE DOES EXIST, giving extraordinary talents to normal people like Paul Potts. BRAVO, BRAVO PAUL!!!!!

  • Give me a break, preach your god somewhere else asshole.

  • lmao.

Just one thing i would like to tell you: Odin loves you and he beheads infidels all the time just for you! Trust me, if you let him come into your heart you'll be free.

This man's beautiful voice is no proof of a god, but merely proof of the outstanding capabilities and ingenuity of the species of Homo Sapiens.

  • Thanks for your reply... I on my part won't try to convince you otherwise because the truth has been already read by you, which motivated your mockery. However, you can count that I will have you on my prayers. I used to be an unbeliever like you. I know what it is being on both sides of the river, and by experience itself I can tell that TRUE FREEDOM and salvation are altogether in Jesus Christ... just let Him come in your heart and you'll know what I'm talking about.

    God bless you, bye!!!

  • Your fault is where you refer to my question as a mockery when, in fact, it is a parallel. You instinctively call it a mockery since you are put on the defense.

I apologize for my confrontational manner, and to what religion or belief one practices in their own time and privacy, is none of my concern. I simply wished to illustrate that though you are passionate in you belief in your prophet, millions of others are just as passionate about others.

    Have a good one.

  • then why do you beleive in Odin? duh.

  • My comment was meant to draw parallels. I am an agnostic atheist.

I cannot disprove the existence of a god, and therefore i refuse to take a leap of faith and rule out it's possibility of existence, however i am strongly inclined to believe that the existence of a supernatural being is unlikely and implausible.

    Have a good one.

  • NO SHIT

    i knew that

  • Lmao.

    My bad dude.

It's hard to get people's intentions through pure text sometimes.

    Have a good one.

  • How did this start? haha.

  • Some dude credited this guy's beautiful voice to a God.

I, on the other hand, propose that it is the man's own ability and practice that has led him to this amazing voice.

Some guy made a comment. I took issue. I commented.

  • Well, if it's bashing on the hypocrasy of christians across america, then gold star for you.

  • Guilty as charged.

  • Hehe.

  • thank you for posting that. God Bless you as well

  • Wonderful Paul Potts,

I don't think anyone should try to compare him to the likes of Andre Bocelli or the late great Pavarotti, Britain's got Talent's not really expected to be in that league. Paul's story is wonderful because this is an ordinary chap in an ordinary job with a faulous talent all his own and it lifts us all out of the ordinary. Thank you Paul for that and long may you last.
