Do you think Rip Curl are biased in their choice of surf spot, maybe selecting the spot hoping to favour the Rip Curl surfers? Though I can only think of Fanning in the top 10, so probably no.

jackalas, the primary wave of the championship is Uluwatu, and the secondary Padang-padang. Thanks for your comments

its not at ulus its padang padang. A short left hand barrel in front of cliffs and breaking on razor sharp coral. Similar wave to pipe and teahupoo if compared to the other tour waves

The wave at Uluwatu doesn't look that particularly long, a barrel and a cutback. I have not surfed the spot so was wondering what people think about it? Was it a good choice or bad choice by Rip Curl?
