Doomsday is essentially a kid at their school. What a terrible show. For God sakes he already fought his entire rogues of villains before he even became Superman. And half of them were just kids at his school.
This Doomsday feels like the equivalent of Bane in Batman and Robin. 2 infamous/intellectual beings who took down 2 famous superheroes are dumbed down to nothing more than just Hulk like brutes. Fuck You Hollywood.

Also, Doomsday started out in a full suit with red lensed glasses on. Its not until after his suit is destroyed in battle do you see the Rock-man face.

This is a property where they had to create an alternate superman just to account for the fact he was in two places at once. Pretty much every new series, whether it be TV or the films, or comics, is a kind of reboot. Just try to enjoy the ride, I guess. That said, this was a pretty...weird incarnation of DD :|

This so-called final battle with Doomsday was TERRIBLE!!! If anyone remembers, the ORIGINGAL Smallville Doomsday is found in Season 6 episode 'Combat', known as Titan (played by WWF wrestler Kane!). That fight was so much better! This climactic fight was a joke.
Great battle! Of course Doomsday is no match for Superman, even a young one! Okay, maybe they have equal strenght, but Superman's super fast, on ground, sky and everything, and has more brains not to forget!!!
Smallville used to be amazing but from like the end of season five it became utter shit. This fight scene should have been about 15 mins long with Clark using all his abilities to try and overcome doomsday but no, the fight is over in 3 seconds and was dull and rushed.

That was the trouble with the series - it either had very good episodes or very weak episodes. This was a very weak episode.

By not having an epic fight here, and burying Doomsday underground, it not only followed continuity by having Doomsday be found under a LexCorp facility, and come back when Clark is Superman, but it also alluded to the rematch that was bound to happen.

Seriously, while Smallville is good, I really hate how the writers can simply make a person bad one second, good the next, reveal the character is secretly being good, bad again, character finds redemption, falls back into evil and is killed in the crappiest way possible. Davis deserved a better departure from the show.

This so-called final battle with Doomsday was TERRIBLE!!! If anyone remembers, the ORIGINGAL Smallville Doomsday is found in Season 6 episode 'Combat', known as Titan (played by WWF wrestler Kane!). That fight was so much better! This climactic fight was a joke.

Smallville used to be amazing but from like the end of season five it became utter shit. This fight scene should have been about 15 mins long with Clark using all his abilities to try and overcome doomsday but no, the fight is over in 3 seconds and was dull and rushed.
