Second, I wonder where these people got the 17,000 sig's from. How many sig's can you get and how many bridges can you visit within the few days between O'Reilly's statement and this scene? (an avg of 10 homeless vets per loc would be 1,700 loc's) Time between loc's x 1hr would be 102,000 hrs. 102,000 hrs divided by 8 hrs/day = 12,750 days divided by 365 days pr yr = 34.9 yrs. (even if they got 100 signatures between bridges or other locations that would be 3.49 yrs.)

It's cool. It's just that the video snippets they're playing here aren't in their entirity, and editing them this way does make him look bad. On the show, VA director & O'Reilly offers help for vets, as well as running resource nos. & having a line f/vets to call in for a month of programming.

In fact, he offered to put them in touch with the VA and other resources for their help on his show. The video's on utube. Watch it; you tell me where he said this, and I'll say how wrong it is. OK; and editing the video to cut out the efforts O'Reilly took in order to let homeless vets know services that could help them/they were available for, was intentional. As far as these people go, how many businesses stop what they're doing to entertain/greet drop-ins? Esp. if security is used/needed. Homelessness is a very real, very sad issue. If you go to singeroflove here on youtube you'll see my homeless video "I Found God Today" Or you may be able to see it in the video response section of this page. There are people and even families that are homeless; many of them due to no fault of their own. My heart and prayers go out to the homeless. I encourage you to support your local Salvation Army, simply because I know that they do help the homeless.

As far as these people go, how many businesses stop what they're doing to entertain/greet drop-ins? Esp. if security is used/needed. In Oreillys opinion, the issue of homeless vets is not a fundamental economic problem but more of a mental health issue. I actually personally know and have assisted in providing help to many homeless veterans, and the statement by Bill O'Reilly was completely out of line.
"There aren't enough to matter"? Who is this high and mighty hillbilly to say who matters? These are men who fought and killed and sloshed though mud and blood and suffered injuries both mental and physical for his right to sit on his show and spout nonsense.

Homelessness is a very real, very sad issue. If you go to singeroflove here on youtube you'll see my homeless video "I Found God Today" Or you may be able to see it in the video response section of this page. There are people and even families that are homeless; many of them due to no fault of their own. My heart and prayers go out to the homeless. I encourage you to support your local Salvation Army, simply because I know that they do help the homeless.

White homeless people can and WILL tell you that cops DO harrass and violate people's rights on a daily baisis! White homeless will tell you,blacks are justified in their mistrust of cops! Rent and home prices usually go UP , while wages stagnate or go down. A homeless vet I well know LOST $30 dollars a month in pay from gov AND received a silly J-walking ticket for $125dollars! And he WAS getting $1,000 a month and he's 73 years old and N|OT elegible 4 foodstamps! Tell me how can he get a home?
