Easy method:

Get capture card example easycap plug red, white and yellow cords into the easycap female cords and plug the easy cap USB into a computer and record easy as that

Ps don't forget to have your Xbox plug in to a power outlet and have your computer and Xbox turned on

@525babe Sorry haven't come across it. I would personally recommend a Hava HD wireless i think it's called, thats if you don't have a pc near your console. It's similar price range to the haupaugge HDPVR (around £120/$180?) but there both 720p HD. But if your serious about video game recording, i wouldn't recommend a SD recorder like in the video, times have changed and no one uses them anymore, everyone uses HD.
