Its about 200,000, the army should be all contract volunteer force by 2010. The aim is to make it a proffessional highly mobile and modern army rather than maintaining a huge force.

It is about 200,000 soldiers now, but every one Ukrainian soldier is worth at least 10 Russian:))) And with machine gun, Ukrainian soldier can be worth even whole Russian battalion:)
