actually there is a need of it in some of your covers, especially the tommy emanuell and the joe robinson covers,,,. your bass notes is ringing out which they should¨nt ... but if you palm mute the three lower strings and start using a thumbpick you will gett that almost *popping* sound,.....if you dont want the bassnotes all ringing out like youve gotem I guess.. then youre doing just perfect =) another tip is to not speed it up, bcuz its fun to play it fast but it can easilly ruin songs

You have the technical ability to play the song, but please, please, please buy a metronome. You are let down buy your timing, you play well in parts and go off like a stream train in others..

Use a thump pick your bassline does not have enough punch, its the bassline that keeps this song going I strain to hear yours in parts.

@petanemec Thanks for the comment! I play this song a lot differently now, maybe i should upload another version sometime. I thought about the thumbpick but i never really bothered. There isnt a need for it in most of my music.

Thanks! I just plug my guitar straight into my mac, and use garageband (or any recording software) to get the sound.

I use a 1/4inch to normal audio sized adapter, to plug my cable into the mic slot, like where you would normally plug in computer mics, headsets etc. You can get an adapter at most tech places.
