i think its because its mainly a guitar for soloing thus you "only" need a humbucker in the bridge position. there are alot of guitars like it. its just personal preference.

a vintage usa warlock,AWSOME!! i advice you to find some live pics of the ex guitar players of deicide: brian hoffman and eric hoffman, they use only the high end custom shops guitars from bc rich and jackson!
