  • Ted "Titch" Plews is I think my late fathers (Arthur Plews) nephew. A lot of my family worked the mines including my Grand-dad who's son (I think) is Jacks father. I also remember an Uncle "MIFF" George Olford he worked with the ponies. I still visit places that my father showed me like the SScastle(fan house), pit top on Barnaby moor and the powder house.

    Thanks for a great vid It makes me so Proud that our iron is all over the world,in railroads and bridges including the Sidney Harbour bridge.
