Microsoft have been working on this since 2001. iPhone, I believe was just LAUNCHED before this product. Anyway, there is no comparison between the two. Watch the videos of the surface computer, it is atm far more advanced than any of the stuff Apples come out with. It has a load of functions that cannot be found anywhere else atm.

He screwed up a bit. Raster images are not infinitely scalable, raster = pixel data. It is Vector images that are math based, and hence can scale infinitely (or as much as you can calculate anyway). Again, Raster = Pixels, Vector = Math.

i have a question, how accessable to buy are those infared scatter lasers? and more importantly if i wanted to put it on a Flat screen TV is it possible to just hook up the Computer to the Flat screen TV (via Computer-to-TV cables) and still have it able to recognize the touch gestures without a projector?

i'm not sure, because the screens here are glass, but yours is probably lcd and maybe the responsiveness is based on reflection, and so lcd doesn't really reflect lol
