The characters look just like the ones from th movie. I also liked the action scenes and the super moves. To me some things they messed up on was some reasons i will list.

1. I would have preffered Sagat having his Scar,even though it throws off the directors story but still would have been good.

2. Where is Sagats fire balls and amazing mua thai action?

3. I would have like it if Ryu was not asian or half asian to fit his charector look

4.Where is Ryu's red bandanna thing?

5. Kens costume design and attitude was terrible, where is his long hair? And that gullable way of his?

I'm a 'Street Fighter' fan, but, out of all the video game-to-film adaptations, I've been saying since Day 1 the exact same thing about 'Mortal Kombat: The Movie' SWAGshow has. In terms of it being able to actually stick to & follow the plot of the freakin' game.

The super moves aren't bad. It's Street Fighter, of course it's not going to have reasons in it. The complaints is that there isn't enough special moves, becuase there isn't any fighting scenes. Yeah Cammy is good. So overall Street Fighter isn't that bad.

They're trying to show you how evil the people Bison's comrades are, and how fragile the mind is, and how good the scientist is, they do it in depth. That's good, it shouldn't explain it in 5 minutes, the way they explain it is good with their length. But they should've had Blanka fight and do alot of fighting, but as I said before, there was like literally no fighting scenes.

I do agree with no actions. Like in the beginning, Bison gets the army guy to fight him, and I was like, "Oh, here comes the action." I thought Bison and the army guy is going to have a long good fight, longer than it showed at least. All Bison did was just grab the guy and toss him in that pit. I was like, that's it?? And about Charlie turning into that green monster, no, it has to be long to explain it. They can't explain it in 30 seconds or 5 mins.

He still used his 1 ship idea, that right there is Guile character.

I love your stance on action movies, and how bad acting and plot should be forgiven if the action's good. It's really made an impact on me and my opinion of films.

But when you're talking about films with both good acting/story and good action, I'd be more inclined to think of Kill Bill or the Dark Knight than Die Hard.

Raul Julia won a Saturn award nomination for best actor, in Street Fighter in 1994. Street Fighter was originally, supposed to win him an Oscar/Academy Award but, bad writers were hired and a not so talented director was hired too. The main problem with this movie was that they didn't allow much actuall violence in comic book/video game movies back in the day because they knew kids were gonna watch them, and I think they based it off of that lame assed american T.V. street fighter cartoon show. Which sucked malboro balls. like the final fantasy movie.

Oh and I have high hopes for the legend of chun-li, after all, we've come a long way baby!
