i'm glad that you conveniently erased your previous comment so that you can't see how you originally wrote that ted was a male escort. i never brought up anything about his honesty, working hard, etc. so i have no idea why you mention those. i know he's a liar. and yeah, they should go to jail if they committed a crime and admitted to it. but i also never argued against that. all i said is that you needed to get your facts straight. haggard was never an escort like the comment you erased said.

Christianity itself gave birth to the critical view of religion, it is Christianity that mostly eliminated the concept of a highly present tangible God by means of philosophy and theology. God was once seen as the architect of plaguesb master of miracles but now mostly viewed as somewhat nebulous entity with influence that escapes definition.Christian God has become a remote God that can no longer be seen or heard.These people are criminals, sick people, greed. They all make me sick .

Ted Haggard is just such a hypocrite. The bible tells him that homosexuality is unnatural, so he doesn't believe that he is homosexual. That part of him still wants to show itself, and he has been hiding it for his whole life. His mind has been corrupted by Christianity, nothing else.

It may be a shock that as a former member of the Nation of Islam & now the Nation of Gods & Earths (or Five % NOI) that I say we need to forgive Ted Haggard. The Bible states "we have all fallen short of the glory of God."
Paul the apostle taught homosexuality is an "unnatural sin." The reason y it is so hard for 1 to stop being gay is b/c unlike other sins, it is unnatural. When 1 repents (or turns) from sin, God changes the person. Believers must remain steadfast though & fight temptation.
