Why do people put their cymbals at extreme angles like this? A crash cymbal should be aligned level with your head, not turned on the stand pointing downwards. A ride I can understand, but a crash? Come one!

I don't think that ZHT's suck. You just hit them like delirious gorilla with those broomsticks, so don't be surprised if they break up. I know the Rock set-up are heavy so you must hit them harder, but there's the Pro set for a healthier use.

its not supposed to be banged on to keep a beat, thats what hi hats and 18 inch crashes are for, 16 inch crashes are one hit at a time for finishing points

its sopossed to be like flat and higher. Ur sopossed to hit a crash cymbal with the 'shoulder' of the stick.....not the ....round or watever part. and hit it with the flat (shoulder) part on the edge....not anywhere near the middle....

i've just bought the rock cymbals (16" and 18") as i think they sound like they have more charactor to them. will be adding the 18" fast crash soon though, that fast crash just makes me go week at the knees

compaired to myZildjian A customs, pasiste signatures and 2002 and k/z hihat and avedis (70's) zbt are sounding way to bad but it's a good start or wait maybe some meinl is better of to start with.. they are cheap and they cut thru the music.. You make some noise there ;)

My latest buy has been a ZBT 20" ride, and in all fairness it's a fucking awesome sound and makes my other cymbals look like shit. Clearly Ekjae is speaking out of his arse because he doesn't have a clue what the botto0m line of Zildjian cymbals would be. Well done dickhead.

Urrgh! Sorry but I'm afraid I think this range is terrible if my 16" medium thin & 14" fast crashes were anything to go by. They had the screeching glare that this one has, corroded heavily within weeks and both cracked within months. (I bought them on impulse) I have now ventured onto the beautiful Sabian AAX range. ;-p

people shutup and buy SABIAN cymbals.... you can buy any kind of sabian cymbal and they would all be good instead zildjian has some kind of cymbals like ZBT or ZHT that suck so much.... if u wanna buy zildjian u should get Z custom, A custom, or K custom ... because all the other zildjians suck... if you go to sabian you will find better and worse cymbals but none of them would suck so much as most of the zildjian

you have to know that bad cymbal sound can make your general drum sound really poor. so you can have a cheap drum set but if you have very good cymbals it sounds much more better

hey dude it depends... i think you made the right choice because if you were a drummer with experience i mean with a lot of time playing drumms then you made the wrong choice.. but if u were actually a really good drummer with a lot of time playing drumms then you would already know that u should get better cymbals... but i can see you dont know if they are good or not i believe they are good for you because u should be a beginner
