This is such a beautiful song, that I can't really find the words to describe it... Such a pity I was actually born in 1991 and I missed that beautiful music era...
Lush, Slowdive, Ride and the rest: Really, really miss ya...
Igual a mi me gustan varios de aquella época (Dif Juz, Cocteau Twins, His Name is Alive, Colourbox, etc.) Me encantaría ir otra vez a Londres a conciertos, sólo he ido una vez y me gusto muchisimo. En aquella ocación ví a Saint Etienne y Broadcast.
Right. No it doesn't get much better than this. This band was so great they are still awesome in these old clips today. The most underrated band of all time. That still depends on how many bands you consider, but I stand by that statement hahaha.
The only live Lush vidio that shows Miki playing that beautiful Rickenbacker 12 string guitar. It always sounded so much better than the Gibson that she replaced it with.

A hauntingly beautiful song - one of Lush's best from their early years.

I always thought that Emma Anderson, Belinda Butcher, Rachel Goswell, and Miki Berenyi should get together and form a group called Slush.

Possibly the only successful pop song ever recorded in 5/4 time.

I love this song! This band seems forgotten, but their sound is not stale or ordinary even now (omg) 18 years later!
Ekkthroi 2 years ago 4
No they're not forgotten. Not at all, believe me. Get a look on the Light From A Dead Star site to check it out.

not their standard sound engineer then, you can actually hear them singing for a change ;-)

I like this performance's tempo. Does it have to be frantic and frenetic? No. I think not.
Blastbarnacle 2 years ago 3
Absolutely right! This tempo is perfect and shows one of my favourite songs off to perfection. RIP Lush, my all time fav band...

Being owner of a ES-335/12 like her, I can't agree with you.

Love Lush! Of all their songs this one makes me think of London, it's got that London sound if that makes any sense.

My favorite Lush song,'tho it lacks that certain kinetic starburst aspect of the record.
Tack så mycket!!!
OrageauxChimera 4 years ago
Agreed. It's a little slow, but I'm glad I got to see it.

I saw Lush play LIVE six times; the first time being only a few months before this recording. Fan vad den är bra! Roskilde också!

This is incredibly important Lush footage...please post the rest of the show if you have it. A million thanks!

well, on a universal scale, i for one would struggle classing this as "incredibly important"
class band though.

Good sound quality, and one of my favorite introspective type songs. Thank you for contributing this.
