@Chocobear555 funny, but I have heard it both ways. When I looked up the Carole Bayer Sager and David Foster's written lyrics for "The Prayer", the line was indeed "as we go our way". I hear the same lyrics with the Charlotte Church version. Looks like Chloe got it right (which is no surprise) and maybe it was Celine that changed it up a little.

In this type of production, there are sync tracks that tie the audio digital recording equipment to the video recording system, the lighting cues, etc. They all run off a single source clock. In the old days we called it the SMPTE time code. This allows a frame by frame match during editing etc. This is used in post production and broadcast...The performers don't even know it's happening...it's behind the scenes...

@baffamet I have no problem accepting that some shows and performers are using click tracks. David Downes the conductor probably IS. That is the difference. If they were all using a click tracks there would be no need of a conductor. I have been in the pro audio visual biz for 40+ years including several shows in DC at Wolf Trap Park for the performing arts with several well known names and in Los Angeles with similar shows so I know SOME do use the tracks. CW does NOT.
