let me ask you something, although I'm sure you'll be as confused as I am. Why do people almost always get tiger mixed up with bird? I swear I hear people saying that goukakyou no jutsu ends with bird yet watching sasuke it always ended with tiger. So I'm just confused as to how they get mixed up with the two.

I think it's because in Japanese, tiger is `tora' and bird is `tori', and they sound somewhat similar.

ps. just because his affinity is wind doesn't mean he CAN'T learn a fire type move... Kakashi is Lightning and he can use a move that is from all 5 of the different basic elements.

OK LOOK! you can learn more than one type of jutsu even if its outside your elemental chakra type, it just takes skill. you could leran all 5 if you wanted to. naruto is currently and idiot and can only do ape shit elementally,accept wind rasengan,. kakashi goes both ways because he's skilled enough to do more than one element but he has sharingan so it goes both ways for him.

yea i think the most common are just 2 chakra types. It's probably easier to learn a fire jutsu technique if your chakra is fire type. But maybe more difficult if you didn't.
