@Mitarohmar Lol jumping to the conclusion that I've never played against a good opponent. These units are better at runby's than zerglings with speed, often zerg will go, ling > roach against a toss. What do they have to attack air if they don't expect it? Queens, maybe spore crawlers here and there if they're really good and anticipate an air attack. But still phoenix rape queens drones and you don't want to know what they do to zerg supply. Overlords and hydras bye bye

@HighDefStarcraft The way you talk about the game implies that, yes.

A competent zerg will constantly be scouting you and knows exactly what you are doing at all times, he WILL know about your stargate. Therefore, he will have spore crawlers and extra queens in place. Unless you are really clever about hiding units against all scouting, that is. Phoenix are quite bad against queens. You need 5 to kill one within a single lift, and overlords would be pulled back to spores, after scouting.

You open forge first, effectively preventing you from applying any early pressure, and don't expand with it - This will give zerg enough time to do whatever the fuck he wants. He will also directly assume you are doing something weird and, since you don't take an expansion until way later, be able to sacrifice alot to prepare for everything, yet still be ahead.

Even if you scout it coming right as it leaves his base, you can still counter it. You do not need a forge. Pull guys off gas, pure zealot and half your probes will hold this off - If you react to the low ground wall off, pure zealot suffices aswell, no probes needed.
