Now, I don't mean to sound like a know-it-all, but the last level that Jon saw after the 4th Special stage was there on purpose. I've been learning a little Japanese, and the level reads, "Special Stage Omake". Omake means "bonus" in Japanese. Many times the Japanese will add a little bonus feature in anime, such as a behind-the scenes or easter egg, under the title, "Omake". This level serves no purpose, it was just a bonus. I do not know enough Japanese to translate the text box, sadly.
