@miellicanor I was referring to the scope/nature of the resulting photography, with respect to the cameras placed within the ball. Perhaps, I should have used the word panoramic, as the original article did. But since you're in such a precision frame of mind. No, not all balls are spherical. American footballs, for instance, are oblong. However, the ball used for the panoramic camera was, in fact, spherical. Therefor, my comment, as originally posted, is entirely correct.
