  • cool hi

  • Keep up the good work!!

  • Wow. In some spots it looks like someone fast-forward the video.

    You're great. Really.

Did you know Chopin didn't like this piece?

  • talented =D

  • are u on drugs or something? ...u get a life.

this kid is awesome. i hope he is also very talented in composing..

  • Simply amazing O.o

  • Well done, blueyoyi.

  • he keeps getting better and better

  • He's great!

He has great control of dynamics and all, but I want to see more feeling coming out. He's only hitting the notes...not really putting enough emotion into it.

He sounds a bit like Claudio Arrau :)

  • i agree with.. thermotomicman

he's AMAZING note wise, but it's a little boring.

it sounds almost like a finger exercise.

  • Many young virtuoso pianist play this, just because they can pull it off technically.. musically it's another story. To compare him with Claudio Arrau is just crazy:)

  • Enzo's music, gives me peace of mind, every time I listen, understand and listen ... he is at a perfect pass from the style ...

Thanks Enzo .... Your friend Mosè.

  • Fantasie Impromptu comes suddenly into the thinking of men and has the power to rasserenare even those who can not alone.

    Chopin forever...

    Thanks Enzo!

    Ciao a tutti

  • Na, he has no feeling. Whatever...the kids who actually grow up to be successful are the ones who actually make it beautiful.

There are always gonna be people with excellent technical ability, but its the interpretation that sets apart the scrubs and geniuses.

  • @atomicjulian lol the kid is 11 years old playing an incredibly difficult song in front of 800 people, you're calling him a scrub?

  • nvr mnd

  • how old is ENzo?

  • wad is the fundamental action tat joeydad1 is referring to? care to explain? =)

  • punaise de bordel de race de merde de sa mere!!! c'est un extra terreste!! c'est vraiment bien joué pour un gamin de son age!!

  • The reason why Enzo can play so well at such a young age is not because of years of practising scales and arpeggios; it is because he plays using the fundamental action.

  • La Fantasie Impromptu di Chopin, suonata così è davvero emozionante per chi la ascolta, dopo aver sentito gli altri pianisti, anche i più osannati. Non credete!

    Enzo is The Best!

  • i absolutely love this song, i've seen the score, and I'm just wondering how you can remember all the double sharps and flats, they always confuzzle me

  • whats a double sharp and flat? ive seen them on other songs like nocturne 9/2 but i dont know how to interpret them

  • double sharp denotes that you transpose the note a semitone higher. it takes on that formality only because of the conditions under which the sharp is appended. it is the other way around for a double flat. the key signature sets a certain pitch "flat" at default ordinance, therefore it only makes sense to co-in a separate term for flattened pitches descending another semitone to secure some measure of enharmonic convenience. a semitone is from c to c# (ascending) c to b (descending).

  • I seen better...

  • speechless...

  • i wish you could have taken a lot more time at some parts but ok :)

  • OH MY GOD!

  • this kid is awesome!

  • Hey....I've performed once at a dinner function once when i was 13...but not at THIS SCALE.. Your amazing dude. Hope you become a sucessful professional pianist one day! Great song btw...

  • .................wow..................

  • amazing how this kid has improved in a year, and at what level he is playing now. a wow from this dilettante.

  • amazing.

  • its beautiful x

  • I can hear how musically sophisticated he is at ll than what he was when he first played this at 10. What an amazing transformation. I simply can't believe what a year has done to his performance. Enzo, you never cease to amaze me. I'll be back in a year to see how much you've progressed. If you would enter all of the international competitions at your age, you would really make a huge impression and WIN! Once you WIN, your career takes off! You are READY! So GO for it! Go for the GOLD!

  • GO ENZO!!!

  • WONDERFULLY played! What a musical little genius!

I love everything you've EVER played - all PERFECT!

  • proringz, and you a bit "uglier" from your previous one, jerk.

This kid is a musical GENIUS and all you can do is talk about something so trivial? And it's not even true, you moron.

  • IDIOT! Go get a life!

  • lol.

you just made me crack up.

youre writting to people on youtube that are a real promise to the world and a real talented human about them getting a life.

i repeat. you are online, on youtube doing that.

just your account name tells me a lot about your brain's size.

now i tell to you: GET A LIFE AND DONT ENVY THE PROS, cuz they own u

  • his cheeks look so cuddly XD

anyway, great technique, lack of expression understandable ^^

  • I think it was a great Job. Yea the Acoustics weren't the best, but don't let that stop yea from playing from the Heart.

  • Wondeful performance! Truly remarkable for your age! Like you said, there was a point in it where you stopped enjoying the music, and it really showed when you bowed. You need to change your attitude and be more positive. Don't be so hard on yourself that you can't play with your heart and simply be happy with it.

You did inspire me to work harder to play my best, and still love the music.

    Thanks.

  • omg you are incredible A PIANO GOD!!!

  • my hero [=

  • You should make a CD if you do not have one all ready.... if so... CONTACT ME!

  • I AGREE!! If i am neat at your house, i'll go everyday!! XD But i'm not a stacker you know..just a friend on your neighborhood :D

    ~kyu

  • BRAVO!!!! WHAT A PERFORMANCE!!!

you'll become a great pianist one day!

  • one daY? he already is noob

  • you're right!!! He is great already!!

  • Enzo you are so wonderful, you plays piano

    like an angel!

  • since when do angels play piano??

  • Wow. Enzo is the best.

  • Nice job. I wish I could have enjoyed piano when I was this young. Keep it up but don't burn out!

Also, everybody watch my video of Fantaisie Impromptu.

  • witch one?

  • watch?v=tfKeaWAIIb4

    that one

  • Okay? Thanks???

  • which

  • Wow man, I started the piano at your age here (12) and I now reall wish I started earlier... :s

    You are amazing Enzo!!! XD

  • this is not a piece fit to be played during a fancy dinner party tbh.... but to be heard with the utmost attention...

  • shut the fuck up you pansy.

  • That was meant for freezerman17.

  • I'm sorry, what was meant for me. You see, I can only read intelligent comments. Yours must have obviously escaped my attention. I do apologise.

  • "apologise" It is spelled "appologize" now..this can mean one of two things, either you are just as unintelligent as you claim to be which would be counterintuative to your original claim. OR, you are a young kid who does not yet know how to spell "big words" either outcome, your comment is void and I (and I'm sure most other YouTubers) would appreciate it if you were to stop trolling comments and give this kid the respect he deserves for the immense amount of skill he has for such a young age.

  • appologize? huh? You just shot yourself in the foot with that. I didn't even read the rest of what I'm sure would have been a waste of my time. Learn to respect other people's opinions and the differences in British and American English.

  • you really look stupid after that comment. All your flowery language afterwards is undermined by the fact that u criticise someone wrongly on spelling and then make not one but two mistakes yourself while attempting to be an english teacher. YOU AMERICANS HAVE RUINED THE ENGLISH LANGUAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

  • Phrase more, stop bashing.

Let me guess, this will be voted negative because it's too realistic.

  • I LOVE YOU...amazing!!! keep up the good work! hope to see you as a renowned piano performer sometime in the future!

  • I think you're very good! I'm playing this piece too, and just finished it. But anyway notice that from 0:10 to 0:15, amateur players don't change the left hand part and leave it the same as the top. There's a noticeable difference.

  • christel94,

You don't THINK he's good, you KNOW he's good.

  • **** you *****!

  • He actually enjoyed every performance he has good job kid "sana ikaw na ang susunod na kilalanin kaso marami kang makakabangang medyo magaling lang ng konti pero sayo ang suporta namin YOUR THE BEST KIDDO!!!

  • i can't imagine how could it possible be. keep it up bro,

  • Nice work! With your techniques, its no prob playing the piece, now you hav to learn to OWN it. Like others said, it comes with time & maturity. As you grow, you will understand Chopin's works lot better. All I can say now is try to make the right hand standout, make it SING, left hand for beats, so keep it softer. When you play, try to close your eyes, see if you can totally listen to the music, try to feel the vibration, soon you will become one with the music. Keep it up, I have faith in you!

  • Or you could just ignore this hippie nonsense since you already do voice the right hand very well, and just keep playing and doing what you love ;)

  • Or he could realize that constructive criticism is given to improve people and use the advice to his advantage. I also have no idea what that has to do with hippies.

  • (at jaggerblade)

  • Call me a weirdo, I just don't understand telling an eleven-year-old kid who can play this song so obviously well -- and NOT just technically well! -- that he's not doing some proper minor nuance. If he already plays this well at 11, then the suggested improvements (which it has been admitted come with age) are going to happen naturally, and there's no sense saying anything but "Wonderful!" or maybe "Encore!".

  • i totally agree :) i played this piece when i was 12 and now, at 17, it is SOO different. it's amazing how much a piece improves with age and/or maturity...you really WILL own it eventually. so keep it up because you already play this wonderfully enzo!

  • magaling! :)

  • fantastic.

  • You must like piano very much. I've seen many professionals. But erm.. U're the only kind that i see a real prodigy. Keep on going. You have a great future. Dun stop loving piano. Dun stop when u have conflict.

  • Ok im not saying at all that he is playing badly. He is amazing for his age!! but when he gets older, and gains more wisdom in having feeling for the songs, i think that he will play the song with alot more emotion. than he is now. once again, amazing performance!!

  • Hey, great job! I'm playing this piece too. Nice job at measure 116, it was really clear. In the last section, where the melody's in the left hand, you might want to try making the right hand softer. It might just be the feed, but it sounds jerkier than the rest of the piece, which detracts slightly from the left hand. Also, during the fast section where the melody is in the 5ths on the right hand, it sort of sounds like you're playing octaves.

Really nice rendition, though. One inspiring kid.

  • GO PINOYS!!!!!!

  • You have amazing technique, speed, and you have basically mastered all of the technical aspects of this impromptu. If this piece was not Chopin, it was sound fantastic. Fortunatly for you, time is the only answer. Keep playing, and you will become one the best on the planet as you grow older.

  • =OOOOOOOOOOO,,,, in a hotel !!!!!

dude youre awesome !!!! i wish to do that in a dinner,:DDD,, someday,, keep on playing!!

  • Wow Awesome, this dude is great

  • lol a few of my MEP (music elective prog) friends have completed their diploma at his age and can play this, so it's not that he's a prodigy, but few can do this, but it's possible if u've learnt. I also done my grade 8 zzz

  • Hi Enzo...My name Algyle from Indonesia n I'm 10 years old, I do like ur video n the way you played this song. I just wondering how long u practice 4 this song coz Iam stil work it out n hv problem with the speed. ok Enzo hope we can be a friend...bye

  • i dont get it...ppl on here are criticising this yet i dont see their videos of themselves performing this perfectly...if u cant play it yourself how can u criticise an 11 year old...

oh and im not pretending i kno much about piano, to me this was perfect.

iv done my grade 8 piano and im learnin this...il never be able to play it!

  • why do you think people need to bring their own personal talents into criticism? i can't play this perfect yet, but i think i still have the "credentials" to say that the marking sounds a bit off, as well as the smorzandos that are missed in the middle section.

i may not be a perfect politician, in fact i'm not even out of high school, but it's okay to criticize the government right?

  • I think it was awesome Enzo, but one thing that could be improved is the speed. It is a pretty fast song, however you missed the ritardandos, which throw in a lot of feeling. If you take that advice, you will probably improve this song a lot in just a matter of weeks. I definately think your old enough to take constructive criticism, but feel free to disagree. keep up the good work!

  • It needs more tone...this piece is very hard to play. You'll be able to play it well in about 3-4 years, at this rate. Good job!

  • his 11 u fool

  • Trust me! It's way better when he plays it at 10 years old!

  • I agree but that 1 is not available now. Pls post it back blueyoyi.

  • mavwar, it's there. I like that one too. You can hear the improvement in his playing as he gets older. Kids grow up so fast. The audience applauded as though he were playing a medley. lol I guess they don't know music. But no problem. I know they're enjoying it.

    ; )

  • benhd1, well of course! And when he's older, it will be better than this one, etc. It goes to show how much he is growing musically. Now he's playing in front of a LIVE audience; next it's International FAME and FORTUNE!

    -)

  • Hey, I'm not taking anything away from his splendid performance. What he has accomplished at his age is a rare sight. I never criticised his performance and if I offended you, I apologise. Besides a little bit of flab ain't that bad sometimes. Lighten up a little.

  • proringz, he takes his music very seriously because he's a genius who's only played piano for approx. 3 years. When he first performed this, he only played for a year. So poking fun at him or any child is unfair, and immature. Listen to how well he plays at 11. If you don't want to enjoy his performace, then don't show up. It's so simple. You offended everyone who admires this little genius. No need to apologize to me; apologize to Enzo. But that was nice of you to do so. I thank you.

  • I like this. You play very well!

  • this piece is amazing. how many years have you been playing this? it looks like your fingering movement has gotten better compared to the first video of you playing this piece. this is a challenging piece, even my mother, a pianist agrees you do a wonderful job.

  • JUMP ENZO JUMP!!!

  • BREATH ENZO BREATH!!!!!

  • Hi Enzo,

I agree with Conpon, try to play jazz. It may be a good thing for oyu. It opens a lot of doors; classical is restrictive. That is if one day you want to play your things, learn as many styles as possible.

  • Didn't wait for the full note at the beginning.. Wonderful playing!

  • dammed !,, go be famous ore something like that!, if u waws the best u were already famous, yeah america is not the best place to gegone famous, everybodys wants that,, btw.. nice playing

  • i like the other one better, but this is still pretty good. i think its just the piano

  • Learn more Chopin enzo. Its a beautiful thing.

  • kid you should take up playing some jazz piano with a left hand like that you bang out some awesome stuff - only thing you might find difficult might be some of the chords - as i don't know how big your hands are but you should deffinately give jazz piano a shot, you could be one of the best if you learn your scales (providing you haven't already) nice playing there

  • kid,you really have the talent to be a true pianist,i envy you, bcuz i oni started piano when i was 12,and i m now currently 16,and i only recently got to play this, and it is still at the pre-mature stage for performance, your interpretation was quite good, and i envy how you could get a chance to perform in front of so many guests! keep up the good work, just keep upgrading urself and you'll be the next legend in the piano world!

  • Enzo Dude! Can't wait to see you at the next Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.. U just gave me a reason to be proud of bein a pinoy.. Way to go Enz!!

  • Can you tell me when it will take place next Chopin Piano Competition at Warsaw?

    Thanks in advance

    DewHF

  • geezus christ, i can't stand the jealous comments from some people here. does it really make you feel that good that you can find something to criticize him on? he's 11 years old for f*** sake. easy to criticize, hard to actually play, you jealous mo-fo's.

  • it was amazingly done tho some constructive criticisim is always usefull. I am not the most knowlaged in playing but i do like ur one at 10 a little more mayby it was just where you were playing. still absolutly astounding for your age. Dont waste talend that you undoubtidly have. goodluck with all your pieces in the future and yourself in genral.

  • stop complaining and observe the music...nobody wants to hear ur crap. he's 11 and gifted beyond everyone.

  • but if you want to play it like how the composer intended it to be played. then, you should do as idicated.

    good luck..

  • the way it is played is nice.

i do agree with some of the comments that you need to have different dynamic levels though. but the over all presentation is nice and good enough or should i say too good for an 11 year old kid. he should be given credit for that. lolz not everybody can play like enzo does. and i think everybody has their own interpretation of music.you really dont have to follow everything written in the piece coz its ur owb interpretation.

  • O.O ... unbelievable...

  • what an improvement =) but it feels rushed at times

  • Wow, very impressive for an 11 year old. Very impressive indeed.

Keep up the good work =)

  • I feel that when he does the staccato when he is doing the D sharp and C sharp trill. When I read the music I see slur lines all over the song .And the bit when it goes into d flat its pesante which means heavy and sotto voce which means like playing under voice and it seems very loud when I hear him playing it and the trill could be longer. A lot of Criticism

  • Why were you at this particular hotel room though?

  • I think the beginning was better on the first video. at 10. You need to have that difference in dynamic levels so the audience is moved by the contrast. And if you emphasize every note, rather than connecting them all so fluidly, you demand attention and are more provocative.

  • I dont think this pieces is as hard as everyone says. I can play this and bits of revoloutionary etude but still cant play pieces that are on the grade 8 syllabus, or all the scales required to pass grade 6-8

  • Well this piece and a lot of "hard" pieces have relatively simple patterns, so its just playing them fast and well at the same time that matters. Playing it with good expression is hard.

  • Did people clap right in the middle of your playing? Now THAT's the first I ever heard of anyone doing that. I know they meant well, but it's a definite distraction.

  • FIVE Stars & SUBSCRIBED!

When you grow up, it won't be as exciting because everyone expects an adult to play these difficult pieces, but a 10 year old? HECK NO, dude! lol

    BRAVO!

  • This simple piece is my favorite of all piano music.

You play it very beautiful! Thanks!!!!! 5/5

  • amazing, improving everyday

  • I've now watched all of Enzo's video and not only does he have an apperently very impressive repertoire, but he plays all of his songs with near perfect accuracy and an expressiveness that is truly beautiful. That kid is now my role despite the fact that he is 5 years younger than me!

  • Did those of you who commented negatively fail to notice that Enzo is ONLY 11 YRS OLD!!! What do you expect from an 11-yr old child?? He's not been playing long enough and isn't old enough to master technique. That will all come with age, maturity and a lot of hard work. He's very well on his way there. And I think he did an incredible job! He's great and I know someday he'll play better than most of you who have nothing good to say.

  • Congratulations again enzo!I really love the way you play. Imposible to play it better than you do!Perfect! If u play something of Schubert i'd like 2 hear that, will you post it, please?

  • Now I've heard many kind compliments, but that's a bit of an exagguration. Yes, he is very talented, and will certainly have an amazing future, but there are many who play this piece a million times better than Enzo. And it's not perfect by any means, there's no such thing as a "perfect" interpretation of a piece. The opening I feel is rushed

  • Let's just hope he doesn't end up in a bloomingdales foyer. Unfortunately too many do.

  • wow. your'e a jerk...

  • i think the performence was kinda...sloppy

  • I KNOW your spelling is VERY SLOPPY.

  • I agree 100%, this performance is very sloppy. But when you see his 12 performances, he is getting much better. Let's wait until he plays this FI again later. This piece is a very difficult piece for those who do not have good techinical skill.

  • The way you took your bow at the end ruined it for me. That display told me not that you're modest but that you weren't even proud of yourself for what you've accomplished. I really truly hope your parents aren't forcing you to do this and thereby ruining music for you.

  • This is music, not poker :)

... I personally just enjoy the music. Something happening before of after the music erh... is simply something happening before or after, it's not the music anymore, ;)

  • SHUT UP!!!!!! goddamn. what is wrong with you people. I hope you don't talk to you shrink this way.... they would tell you that you are crazy.

  • very well played. who is really writing in the description of the song? because i highly doubt that an 11 year old would be saying things like "it made expression more difficult to achieve" who's the writer?

  • his father or his brother, does it rly matter? ^_^

    ...listen!

  • Awsome encore encore!

  • Bravo! :)

    -Celia

  • Excellent!

  • It's amazing how much your playings coming on! you're improving dramatically, and I reckon by the time you're 13 you'll be able to outshadow professionals!

  • I've been playing this piece for years..one of my favourites to play. I really don't play it as good as this though. Beautiful!

  • He is too good to play at such "commercial" venues. Please keep him away from these. And great job Enzo! Keep working hard and some day you will become a world renowned pianist.

  • the first comment that i agree with!!! miracle.

  • *worship*

  • Wow, Its Just Crazy. I wonder if he's a happy kid.

  • another EXCELLENT performance!!

  • Wonderful

  • Fantastic performance, especially considering the distracting venue! You really kept your concentration very nicely, and still provided a super great rendition with a very nice dynamic range. Splendid!

  • GREAT JOB!!!
