Yeah, the Genesis came out before the SNES. No one really noticed it until Sonic was released in 1991. Before that, all it really had was ports of Sega's arcade classics (Outrun, Golden Axe) and Phantasy Star II, which was possible the assiest RPG sequel I ever played.

At the start it looked like it was going to be a facelift over the NES one with the jumping and goofy badguys, but it isnt'.

I was actually quite good at this game when I was little but now I suck at it. Can't get past the 4th level with the cars and tanks.
