pretty stupid story...should have never happened in the first place...if she was really seriously injured and they asked the umpire to carry her the ump should have said okay if you are willing to do that we will give her the home run, and oh yeah, call the fucking ambulance...it's just really stupid in my opinion...

I must be missing something here. I mean, she was screaming in pain, but never mind that. Winning is the most important thing in life. I can't even believe there's a rule in the first place that makes helping an injured player a penalty. What a sadistic game.

I don't understand if she was seriously injured then why didn't they call paramedics right away and stop the game? Why would her own team leave her rotting on the ground with a torn knee? So effed up.

@AnastasiaHardt Because the game was still in action and in play they could not let a coach or a ref interfere otherwise they would of lost the game. You are losing the perspective on how these girls let them win and helped her. Even her own players couldnt touch her. Thats the rules of college softball. After she hit home then they took care of her.
