the ONLY problem with this game is the only respawning enemies are the monkey, ostrich, cheetah, rhino, and warthog in erimos. all dungeon or even outdoor badass enemies like in ashos NEVER respawn. thats right, so once you kill everything once and beat all quests going around exploring is too boring. go ahead, kill 50,000,000 monkeys to get from level 46 to 47 i want, i sold this. (on ps3)

Two Worlds 2 is quite a fun Game. The Magic System is great Fun, the Graphics are good and theres lotsa stuff to do. Just the Combat is a bit floppy, and I hate the Main Character, because he always sounds so...bored. But asides from that, the Story is good, and it will keep you entertained for a good while.

Good game, except I didn't appreciate the linear "unlock this part of the world, then this part, etc." system. Also it seemed like enemies rarely if ever respawned, so I couldn't find anything to fight a few times.

I own this game, and how would you know if I did or not? If Fallout or Oblivion had multiplayer it would take away from the experience. Those games arent built to be multiplayer, unlike the fable games or Two Worlds 2. Two Worlds 2, like I have already mentioned, is a huge improvement from the first, But it falls short when it tries to show up the Elder scrolls series.

Dude the game isn't that bad, if you played the first one then you'd definately know that. This game is a huuuuge improvement from where the first one was. I just bought this game and I think it's got some solid RPG elements to it. Albeit it's far from perfect, but I'm happy to see that it's an actual RPG and not a hack-n-slash just pretending to be one.

@JBisaQueer There are only a lot of cutscenes in the intro/tutorial. Once you are done with the prologue, the game completely opens up. There is more way content in just Chapter 1 than in all of Oblivion. After 80+ hours, I'm only in Chapter 3, and I'm still seeing new enemy types, loot, and areas on a regular basis. Not to mention I've already sunk about 20 hours into the 8 person coop mode (which isn't as fulfilling as the sp, but still fun to play through with friends). Best RPG in years.
Yes, this game is a love hate ordeal. Personally I loved it: the numerous settings were engaging and the combat was pretty fluid. The great number of things to do and explore in amazing graphical rendition with swarms of people(like assassins creed), is reason to buy it alone. My only qualm was with the storyline, it was progressing well but lost its momentum in the end. But because getting there was so fun its only a minor inconvenience.

@XSpaceStormX My first reaction to this game I thought it was terrible! I was seriously pissed at myself for buying it. However, I gave it a chance and looked passed the minor flaws, and now this game has seriously messed up my sleeping schedule, lol. There is so much stuff in this game I cant believe they put it all on one disc. Plus, for only $40, you def get your moneys worth, unlike most games where you pay $60 for 8 hours of gameplay. The hero says some funny shit too! I love it!
@SouthSho450 you should roll back the resolution and you will see a drop in slow-down, but I would also consider a GPU upgrade. I run a gtx 570 and they are amazing cards if you can afford it, also the gtx 460 and 560 are a bit more affordable but still excellent cards. alternatively if you prefer ati and are on a budget the 5830 is a good card i think they go for around the £100 mark or if your on a super tight budget maybe a 5670. out of all those I'd say the best bang for buck is the gtx 460.
This game is SOOOO underrated. One of the best rpgs out there. AND, it's properly programmed. Unlike rubbish games like gothic 4 which gives you absolute crap when it comes to fps. This is a BILLION times better in terms of graphics AND it's alot less laggy. It's a staggering game and everybody should play it.

@POUTANA2 - Youre wrong. It looks and feels like Gothic games (Except Gothic 4). Plus this game has the most fantastic graphics and physics I have ever seen in a game. I play this on max setting and my 9870 ati forced AA and this game is fucking beautiful.
Combat system is great, and I would strongly suggest this game over Gothic 4 any day. Gothic 4 was an absolute borefest from the beginning.

You should have pre-ordered. It's already here. Bethesda told of its return. It's delay, was merely due to Fallout. For the time after Oblivion was released. When the game called 'Skyrim' would show its own graphics. But no one wanted to believe; believe it was even in development. And when the game finally comes out, it comes out in November! Now, there's one that WoW and CoD will fear: On our platforms, it is called The Elder Scrolls V: SKYRIM!
The first one had lots of bugs and bad production values. This one looks better. The story (Orcs as the minions of the evil bad guy?) is a little lame, and the some of the armor designs could be better (less giant football pad pauldrons) but the AMBITION of this game is great. I'm convinced Two Worlds 3 or 4 will be better than any other RPG at the time, whether that's Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age, good series which are unfortunately becoming dumbed down and simplified.

Great Graphics, Dinamic world, pretty nice story that keeps you playing, Uniquie magic craft system made my jaw fall off, bothe melee and archery look great but can get tricky at times (specialy in the beggining). Game is a bit difficoult but rly worth time and money, i strongly recomend! THIS IS WHAT GOTHIC 3 and 4 should have been!
Hi everyone. I have been a Gothic III fan for a long time, and I loved the story and the gameplay (thos some lacks on the fighting system, but gives a little unique feature to the game ^_^).
Not so long ago I found out about Two Worlds and Two Worlds II and I'm pretty eager to buy it myself, as it looks a lot like the Gothic series, just the fact that you can customize your character.
I have read some comments below, and it seems the skills can be learned without a trainer? Thanx for answering
In regards to a skills-by-doing system, It's to easy to abuse despite it's realism. Traditional leveling up is weird however. The best compromise I've yet seen was Risen, which level ups gave you learning points, but you had to visit trainers and spend gold to raise your skills.
Anyway back to the point at hand. Two Worlds was a good game, very underrated. It had a massive world, a solid story (sorely lacking from a lot of games today), and fun multilayer (in epic edition).

Yes, this game is a love hate ordeal. Personally I loved it: the numerous settings were engaging and the combat was pretty fluid. The great number of things to do and explore in amazing graphical rendition with swarms of people(like assassins creed), is reason to buy it alone. My only qualm was with the storyline, it was progressing well but lost its momentum in the end. But because getting there was so fun its only a minor inconvenience.

i just bought this game from ebay cause i live in australia and they wont release it here, two days after i got it i still havnt played it yet cause i started wow game after saying it was gay for so many years and now im addicted to it ,. maybe ill play 2 worlds 2 soon

@XSpaceStormX My first reaction to this game I thought it was terrible! I was seriously pissed at myself for buying it. However, I gave it a chance and looked passed the minor flaws, and now this game has seriously messed up my sleeping schedule, lol. There is so much stuff in this game I cant believe they put it all on one disc. Plus, for only $40, you def get your moneys worth, unlike most games where you pay $60 for 8 hours of gameplay. The hero says some funny shit too! I love it!

my PC is fuckin laggy when i play this game
i own a quadcore AMD athlon 620 2.6Ghz X 4
with 4Gb of RAM DDR3
and a ATI radeon HD 4600 1 Gb
my screen is 22 inches and i play 1600x1200 at 30fps !!
i think the problem might be the Video card...but it's way better than the recommended requirements....Please help me !! its sooo laggy !

@SouthSho450 you should roll back the resolution and you will see a drop in slow-down, but I would also consider a GPU upgrade. I run a gtx 570 and they are amazing cards if you can afford it, also the gtx 460 and 560 are a bit more affordable but still excellent cards. alternatively if you prefer ati and are on a budget the 5830 is a good card i think they go for around the £100 mark or if your on a super tight budget maybe a 5670. out of all those I'd say the best bang for buck is the gtx 460.

This game is SOOOO underrated. One of the best rpgs out there. AND, it's properly programmed. Unlike rubbish games like gothic 4 which gives you absolute crap when it comes to fps. This is a BILLION times better in terms of graphics AND it's alot less laggy. It's a staggering game and everybody should play it.

@Demonicslacker personally i liked it on pc better, the controls were slightly better and my pc can handle like 2x the amount of graphics that my xbox can..otherwise gameplay is all the same

@POUTANA2 - Youre wrong. It looks and feels like Gothic games (Except Gothic 4). Plus this game has the most fantastic graphics and physics I have ever seen in a game. I play this on max setting and my 9870 ati forced AA and this game is fucking beautiful.
Combat system is great, and I would strongly suggest this game over Gothic 4 any day. Gothic 4 was an absolute borefest from the beginning.
I havent finished TW2, but this is my opinion so far.

@xDilutedx if you think that this game feels like gothic games riding a horse and this fancy stuff fine,i dont like to judge gamer's mind but the truth is like you said you only it has fantastic graphics i ve play it yes but it doesnt look to me then a normal rpg game that u make ur character and doesnt give the feel of the gothic and i have also finished it anyway cheers, i know some will understand ;) .

You should have pre-ordered. It's already here. Bethesda told of its return. It's delay, was merely due to Fallout. For the time after Oblivion was released. When the game called 'Skyrim' would show its own graphics. But no one wanted to believe; believe it was even in development. And when the game finally comes out, it comes out in November! Now, there's one that WoW and CoD will fear: On our platforms, it is called The Elder Scrolls V: SKYRIM!

The first one had lots of bugs and bad production values. This one looks better. The story (Orcs as the minions of the evil bad guy?) is a little lame, and the some of the armor designs could be better (less giant football pad pauldrons) but the AMBITION of this game is great. I'm convinced Two Worlds 3 or 4 will be better than any other RPG at the time, whether that's Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age, good series which are unfortunately becoming dumbed down and simplified.

@100idkanything +1. Two Worlds 1 was a bit boring thought.. Two WOrlds 2 is rly under rated. Great Graphics, Dinamic world, pretty nice story that keeps you playing, Uniquie magic craft system made my jaw fall off, bothe melee and archery look great but can get tricky at times (specialy in the beggining). Game is a bit difficoult but rly worth time and money, i strongly recomend! THIS IS WHAT GOTHIC 3 and 4 should have been!

Hi everyone. I have been a Gothic III fan for a long time, and I loved the story and the gameplay (thos some lacks on the fighting system, but gives a little unique feature to the game ^_^).
Not so long ago I found out about Two Worlds and Two Worlds II and I'm pretty eager to buy it myself, as it looks a lot like the Gothic series, just the fact that you can customize your character.
I have read some comments below, and it seems the skills can be learned without a trainer? Thanx for answering

In regards to a skills-by-doing system, It's to easy to abuse despite it's realism. Traditional leveling up is weird however. The best compromise I've yet seen was Risen, which level ups gave you learning points, but you had to visit trainers and spend gold to raise your skills.
Anyway back to the point at hand. Two Worlds was a good game, very underrated. It had a massive world, a solid story (sorely lacking from a lot of games today), and fun multilayer (in epic edition).
