After watching that Peter guy win season 2, I never watched the show again. He was an absolute disgrace bringing up his parents death every chance he got, just to get the sympathy vote from viewers...which worked. The show after the first 2 seasons was the same old thing over and over. The tv ratings dropped because the show became dull and boring.
