  • Garbage Matte is usually only used for removing objects that still appear through the greenscreen. Masking is what you would use for that sort of effect(which is in AE)

    I highly suggest that one purely because it works with all other adobe products seamlessly, AND it is on both mac and PC

    I have Final Cut, which works well. but i believe (aside from SHAKE) that Adobe has much more potential
