Ok. From what I have gathered I cannot find a way to import straight into lightroom Via USB/Camera Cable.. But thats just from what I have found. That being said I would advise you (on the safe side) just to invest 10-20 dollars in a USB card reader (Walmart, Best Buy, ebay etc.) Sorry I couldn't help more :)
To be honest im not really sure.. Ive always plugged my card in and went that route. I'll ask a friend who might import that way and get back to ya :)
If I am just plugging my camera into my computer, it does not pull up Lightroom automatically. Is there a way to have it do that, or at least give me the option?
I open LR, then connect my camera via usb, then the import window opens and everything else is as follows...
