  • huwaat??? wooh...dumb-reporter..read it again-dumb girl..

  • wtf? american students are getting dumb and dumber everyday! wow!

  • it just shows how college student here in the philippines are way better in making essay than college student here in the US...shame...

  • @blatherskite I agree with you! Look at America we have politicians telling us to only speak English while you guys in the RP are skillful in speaking multiple languages from Tagalog, Spanish, Island Dialects of the RP, Chinese, Japanese, Korean , English, Arabic and you speak all these languages better than the native speakers in the other countries. No Wonder the call centers are located in the RP.

  • Carol Costello is a dumb ass reporter, I know and the sentence is perfectly written in college level. No wonder why, US college student nowadays are dumb, all they care is partying than studying, and that's why Asian-Americans are dominating the academics in US right now and that's the fact!

  • wow now i know why most of my filipino friends are educated than my american friends.

  • it's not cheating, it is outsourcing. You are doing the same thing that companies do everyday.

  • I think they must make an international body against essay mills and international plagiarism laws should apply to them. make special committees or organisations to hunt down such websites and companies that do such things and stop them from cheating. cheating is not just merely plagiarism, it is stealing and a crime of the highest order.

  • Lol at the F. Those who believed what the reporter divulged are really dumb. Haha. I like to have this as a sideline! Lol!!!

  • OMG! The first sentence was correct and the point was given! But of course, since the essay is about the media, they intentionally made it look like it's incorrect. FAIL CNN! >.<

  • That first sentence was a good college level sentence. It made perfect sense. It's ironic too because, obviously the media is bias.

  • Woah.. What is wrong with the reporters on CNN? That sentence was good and right. Maybe those reporters were also cheaters back in their university days.. :p

  • The reporter said "Huwhaat?!" on that first sentence. I understood what she just read and she didn't. Another dumb blond.

  • I REALLY THINK THAT The FIRST SENTENCE WAS A GOOD INTRODUCTION! CNN Seriously ???

  • I guess the US deserves this.....nuking 2 Japanese cities is legal, killing innocent kids in the name of "national security" is legal, allowing porn sites on the net is legal----but cheating at college level has raised their concern.........the mind boggles.

  • wow

  • This is pathetic. These American students should NOT be in college or maybe they need to go to an easier college. If you can't do the work yourself, you shouldn't be there.

  • ahahahaha, i too, once using my brain to earn money hihihihihi

  • well in the philippines? compititiion is everywhere, but i made this stuff too when i need money hahahahah its just like exercising my brain and a help 4 a fried lol....

  • Okey, given the fact that american students (not all) cheats because of their "limited" english skills but I am sure they are not stupid enough to pay $80 and get an F grade. Otherwise, the business will not be that good on the other side of the globe.

  • haha. im speechless.

  • we all know that these "reporters" were only reading from a spiel. i wonder if they can hold their own when the spiels are gone. they might sound like gorillas on dopamine. harharhar!!!!

  • LOL WTF. ARE u fuacking kidding me tht was the best introduction I would have used. The words from tht first sentence had lots of scientic terms tht the reporter didn't even know lol n ENGLISH was her first language. This just shows how dumb Americans are lol.

  • by the time we graduate from high school in the philippines it's easy to crank out essays.

  • @buckace77 Look at the US High Schools they are very bad.

  • the girl was like what?!!!freak she didn;t get it at all..how come she is a newscaster if she didn;t get the essays?

  • The reporter in white seems to understand the essay. She just probably kept it by herself.

  • @dirtlifter007 hahahhaah...

  • but i felt sad when i watched this video, i think they still have the capability to make sensible essays,.. it's just that, they are... uhm... "tired?" so they hire people from other countries to write for their "assignments"....

    mahal ko ang PILIPINAS....

  • conclusion: Filipinos are skillful, they are not stupid.

  • wait.. why do i think that what she read made sense? I mean, it was actually gibberish when i heard it first. But when i listened to it again, it made sense.

Why can't she understand her own language?? Maybe it was just too technical for her. lolz :)))

  • i think what she read was good, sounded very technical. and i think that was the reason it was given an F because college students nowadays couldn't write that well

  • the essay was given F grade for lack of coherence..i dont think so, they just cant take it that the third world minds can do better paper works than them.. why would they pay for such amount.

  • the essay was given "F" becoz it didn't have any coherence at all..they just cant take it that filipinos can write better.

  • haha then tell me miss reporter how was your ratings in essay writings when you were in college?

oh to tell you more.. US students does not just outsource essays from my country, even softwares and computer programs as well. lol

  • Dumb Americans

  • "...no college level organization, obviously english was not their first language..."

no, seriously, before you get hired by the writing team, you have to be well-qualified. you need to submit a sample paper and go through interviews. how could you pass if you write like an elementary. and actually, that part she read was really good for an introduction and it has no grammatical error whatsoever. wtf cnn.

  • that is actually a good introduction. maybe the professor just felt insecure or whatever, maybe he knew the student wouldn't be able to produce such work.

  • @darenmay yeah it sure is .. maybe CNN faked this part . so much for ethics :p

  • @goldenevdo yep, just because it's unethical, they're degrading the writer, making him appear dumb.

  • I can say that we Filipinos can speak English well over Americans. Whenever we speak in English we always watch our words to avoid humiliation. We our very conscious, often times we make laugh if your English is wrong grammar. Like me, it took me a while to complete my comment. But still I don't know if my grammar is correct,am I? lol

  • @renrono ye, you filipinos can indeed speak english 'well over' us americans.

    vous fucker stupide.

  • Lol... This just reminds me of the Answer from Miss Philippines in Miss Universe 2010 LOL!

  • What a bunch of American idiots! These idiots are willing to pay $15-27 a page when you only need to write a 3-page essay is so lazy and stupid.

  • i wrote and sold 3 research for UK university MBA students , and all of them got best grades , i gold 20k paid for that....... whats wrong if ur people are dumbass

  • i wrote and sold 3 research to UK university MBA students , and all of them got best grades , i gold 20k paid for that....... whats wrong if ur people are dumbass

  • this really shows filipino's are smart!

  • this need turnitin

  • Yeah I'm Filipino, I top English at school but flunked my Filipino. I'm a shame, same goes to Americans and all nationalities.

  • Fuck i should have done that when i was in college. I should have outsourced it to India. haha

  • @cjisavailable - u hit the mark! mabuhay ang lahing pinoy!

  • that is the brilliance of Filipinos.. they can make something appear and look like it is something from somewhere..

  • OMG! This is disturbing. Technology has really been used in a wrong way. *sigh

  • er that the problem is why is are native language all through out world wont we practice it....saying in rome do what the romans do...

  • gosh the paper she read definitely did not come from a Filipino writer. hahaha.

  • @juzzzmee It must be from another AMerican is not pinoy but uses jejemon.

  • And I wonder why they laughed on the first sentence... Non-coherent? I thought it was a good sentence to start.

  • For God's sake... I wouldn't be proud of myself for submitting someone else's work. This is when the power of Internet is used the wrong way.

  • That paper's definitely not made by a filipino.

  • these newscasters are a bunch of IDIOTS !!!!!!!!!!!!

thats ok you just broadcasted to the whole world how stupid and biased u are !!!!!

  • i think the professor was overwhelmed and felt insecure at how the essyas were written.

  • but i got that. i dont see anything wrong? what u guys are just following whatever the professor said? that made sense to me.

  • Hold on, so what's wrong with "The media, acting as the eyes of the society, ough to practice its role with the highest journalistic ethics possible, feeding the society with information of unquestionable source to perpetuate the credibility and the moral obligation bestowed to it."?

    Greetings from Thailand.

  • yeah, i think its a good lead

  • The strange thing is that the newscaster said, conceitedly, that "Well, English is not their first language", but the grammar and the structure on the sample was totally correct and proper, so maybe the whole lead was taking too much of a detour and should have mention the name of the subject in question in the first place? I'm just babbling here :-P

  • she is asking for an essay and not news, news lead are usually brief and straight to the point. that is an essay, the lead is good, i wont give it an F.

  • @leonguevarra

So why was she saying "...What?", as though it lacks substance..hmm...perhaps the report is biased against the skill of the ghostwriters, however unethical their deed maybe.

  • couldn't say more.

  • students who cheat to make through their college life should just quit the shool and find something else to do because it is not "FAIR" for the other non-cheating students who work hard on their essays.

  • ok, i could use the money. let me do your term paper ;)

  • shes lieing,...The grade was an A....if it was an F..why wld majority of students go for it..!!!

  • The pay back in 2007 was 100 pesos (2 dollars) per page on short essay with relatively easy topics (i.e. My Grandparents, My Pets..) But it will be more expensive if you are doing Masteral theses or Undergrad Research especially the Review of the Realated Literature. It's tempting! I almost joined my friends in writing for the lazy Americans who order their homeworks online.

  • This is true. I came from the University of the Philippines, the pemiere university of the country and a lot of my friends are doing term papers, essays, theses and even dissertation of American undergraduate and graduate students.

  • I am a Pinoy in the USA and I noticed in recent years that the Phillippines have been getting bad publicity. 1 I heard that more pirated products come from the RP than China now, Internet Hacking, E-mail scams, Text Messaging scams, and facebook scams are coming out of RP than China and Nigeria combined. 2 The ampatuans and the Arroyos suck more bribe money from China and the USA than the Marcoses ever did.

  • @recto89 speak Tagalog first b4 we believe that ur pinoy. k?

  • @Man20Pac Opo Sir! ang sabihin ako ng Tagalog.

  • @recto89 dito ka po ba lumaki sa Pinas sir?

  • @Man20Pac Hindi I live in America.

  • @recto89 Pure American or Fil-Am sir?

  • @Man20Pac Fil-AM Po.

  • @cambridge0809

Just asking out of curiosity, are the Americans hiring your friends to ghostwrite studying at top-notch universities or mediocre ones. Ghostwriting is a substantial business here, too, even in the domestic market alone, so I wonder about the conditions (and payoff) of the overseas market.

  • that was actually a really good first line... hhahahaha

  • hmm yeah honestly i am filipino,,,,and i dont want to sound arrogant but most of the americans don't know their english.....yeah i wouldnt say that every foreigner is greater than the americans in terms of english.....just a hefty majority of the americans are poor english writers.... sometimes im curious on how best writing american authors pop out...

lol but ....yeah this is kinda sad...more and more people not caring about what they do...

    people cheating

    people taking advantage of cheaters

  • I am a Pinoy too and in Universities and Community Colleges I went to. I noticed that The Indians, Pakistanis and Chinese Men are majoring and succeeding in Engineering, Physics and math. Pinays are succeeding and majoring in Nursing and Medicine. Pinoy men, Chinese Women and Vietnamese Women taking Biotech, Biochem and Pharmacy. all these examples show people who succeed without cheating.

  • I admit as a pinoy in the USA I noticed that most Filipino immigrants are able to speak 6 languages such as Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, Spanish, and English. I noticed that most Americans are too ignorant to speak in multiple languages Most US people will impose English Only policies but these people are not from CA.

  • @cjisavailable wow! i cant believe a non-native americans says that..

  • @1martinjom check you grammar unless it is intentional

  • @cjisavailable wow! check yours too! ahahhahha

  • seems the Pakistanis, Indians and Philipine students can do better than their US counter parts ...

  • commnet on the lady that they interviewed....... its just some students wait for the last minute to do what they have to do
