  • That was great. Thanks for posting it!!

  • Un grandissimo attore, purtroppo troppo spesso relegato a un unico filone cinematrografico.

  • Vampire Over London was the same film as Mother Riley Meets the Vampire, and 'My Son, The Vampire'.'Old Mother Riley was ridiculous, and I truly felt he tried to make a fool out of Bela...but he didn't suceed. Lugosi had style and grace, and was too good for most of the roles he played.

  • I wish he could of gotten a chance to do a film as Cyrano. I think it would be interesting.

  • because as a result of dracula-... "I make a living" hehe

  • Love his accent!

  • What an insanely handsome, charming, magnetic man!! They don't make 'em like Bela anymore.

Two people I wish I could have met? John Lennon and Bela Lugosi.....

  • interviewer looks like david lynch :P

  • Bela Lugosi is a GGILF!

  • i am the count! my grandfather was born in transylvania..his first name was bela...true story..

  • i read somewhere he never owned a car but had friends drive him around! thats awesome!!!

  • @skullmask5 You should cut your hair like Bela Lugosi. He had bad ass hair, i wonder if he used pomade,or V-O 5

  • @ar15mmdelta it was probably brylcreem! or tres flores lol! yeah a haircut, a stop at penners, k-mart and it was fucking hot outside lol!!!!

  • @skullmask5 ya ed wood drove him around everywhere in his last years

  • @MrFirthguy man i'll bet those were some really fun times!!!

  • @skullmask5 for sure bela lugosi is probably my favorite actor

  • Bela Lugosi is easily my favourite actor of all time

  • why cant that man look into his eyes he must be affraid

  • I love his voice!! and its true we need actors like him today!!!!

  • i saw this interview many, many years back on television. bela really stood out in his time. there was nobody like him and hollywood threw him away because they thought karloff was so much better. karloff is good and all, but lugosi is always so much more interesting to watch. no horror star today can hold a candle to him or any of the other legends from that era.

  • bela lugosi is so freak, however he was born in Romania, Lugoj, check imdb!!!!

  • @SaintMeran

Actually, no. When he was born, Lugos/Lugoj was a part of Hungary.

  • @SaintMeran but when he was born Lugoj (Lugos in hungarian) was not part of Romania but Austria-Hungary

  • @sondano Yeah, i guess he,s one of the hungarian colonists the king sent to transilvania.

  • @SaintMeran nope he was BORN in the city he wasn't sent there by anyone, obviously. I'm not surprised that he left though. Eastern Europe is horrible even today let alone back then

  • The movie Ed Wood depicted Lugosi as a charming and likeable guy and interviews like this certainly prove that's exactly how he was!

  • Thank you for posting this interview.

    ---Ellen

  • The interviewer ought to have made eye-contact with Bela

  • @WhenLilacsLast No way man, making eye contact with Bela Lugosi is dangerous. He can see into your soul and even make you his slave!

  • Wow. WHy do these great people not exist in the world today??????

  • @filmmakingjoe: Because the presence of low-quality stuff like Twilight seeps the greatness that people like Bela Lugosi are composed of straight out of the universe. Duh!

  • @filmmakingjoe they were back in the good ol days (except Bela needs to be here to teach edward about vampires)

  • @filmmakingjoe Because they died of old age.

  • biiiiiig ffffuuuucking thanks for this!!!!!!!

    <3 Béla <3

  • WOW! What a rare find! this is fantastic!

  • thnks for this ! holy Bela.

  • Children of the night, what music they make!
